  • The Prison Test (Part 1)

    10/06/2021 Duración: 09min

Most people who know me also know that my favorite bible character is Joseph. In Genesis 39 we read that Joseph was falsely accused of sexual misconduct, and he ended up in prison. The prison test is when you do the right thing, and the wrong thing happens to you. Whether we like to admit it or not, if we are honest, there are seasons of life that do not make sense. It is during these times we need to exercise patience and perseverance. This is why Galatians 6:9 states: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Patience is waiting with contentment. Another definition for patience is “cheerful endurance.” You see, you can have patience in the short term, but the longer you wait, that patience must transition into perseverance. Perseverance is fighting the battle, while you are waiting with contentment. When we exercise patience and perseverance we make ourselves candidates for God’s best!

  • Do You Have Peace? (Part 5)

    09/06/2021 Duración: 10min

Before you answer this question, you probably should ask me: What type of peace am I referring to? Did you know that there are four different types of peace referenced in the bible? Yet the majority of Christians are only aware of one type, and that is Spiritual Peace—which we more commonly refer to as being born again. There are three other types of peace referenced in the bible: There is Obedience Peace, which deals with the peace that is associated with complying with God’s commandments. Simply put: It is impossible to be a successful sinner in God’s Economy. There is also Personal Peace, often referred to as the “peace of God.” This is the type of peace that helps us in our decision-making process. Lastly, there is Peace with Others: This deals with having harmonious relationships with those in close proximity. God desires that we have the all-encompassing peace that is composed of all four. If you only have the first type of peace, you can be on your way to Heaven with hell kicking your butt every step o

  • Confronting Your Spouse's Sexual Addiction (Part 3)

    08/01/2021 Duración: 10min

Confrontation is never easy especially when the one you love is involved in sexual sin. Most of us desire peace at any price. Unfortunately, this peacekeeping mission is more often motivated by fear than virtue. The Bible says "blessed are the peacemakers". It does not say "blessed are the peacekeepers. If your spouse is involved in sexual sin, it needs to be addressed. Join us as we discuss the ways in which we can tackle this challenging revelation of your spouse’s infidelity.

  • What is a Blessing? (Part 4)

    10/12/2020 Duración: 09min

In my judgment, few words are as misused as the word “blessing” in the body of Christ. Often when you hear Christians talking about a ”blessing” they are referring to something like a promotion at work, a new car, or getting their mortgage approved, but that is incorrect. The things that you receive are the fruit, but the root is really what the Bible refers to as the blessing. In short, the blessing is a supernatural enablement to get results. The reason why this distinction is so important is that, if you lose the fruit or satan attacks the fruit you will not panic because your mindset is, "I have God's blessing over my life". satan can always attack the fruit, but he cannot attack the root. When you have this mentality it enables you to go through life with the attitude; there is a supernatural capacity in my life to get results.

  • Stewardship (Part 9)

    19/10/2020 Duración: 12min

To understand what the Bible says about stewardship all we have to do is start with the very first verse in the Bible: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). This passage makes it very clear that God has absolute right of ownership over all things. The essence of stewardship is God is owner and man is the manager. If we don't embrace our relationship to God’s resources accurately, we will make ourselves susceptive to all sorts of distorted philosophies about finances. In this teaching, we will address the following four worldviews: The Poverty Mentality, The Prosperity Mentality, The American Dream Mentality, and The Stewardship Mentality.

  • Spiritual Growth (Part 2)

    14/08/2018 Duración: 09min

Hebrews 5.12-14 and 6.1-3 are verses that stress the importance of growing up in the things of God. Six things are considered elementary: 1. Repentance from dead work, 2. Faith, 3. Doctrine of Baptism, 4. Laying on of hands, 5. Resurrection of the dead, and 6. Eternal judgment. However, denominations all around the world have made those primary issues their emphasis dividing the body of Christ, causing churches to split and people to stop walking in love. Join me as I share characteristics that I have observed in people who are growing in the things of God.

  • As Your Soul Prospers (Part 4)

    18/07/2018 Duración: 10min

3 John 2 says: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” In my judgment, this is one of the most impactful, yet most misunderstood passages in the Bible. This verse makes it clear that there is a direct relationship between how you prosper as a person and how your soul is prospering. In this teaching, we will examine the components of the soul: the mind; will; emotions; intellect; reasoning; memories; affection; and imagination, and look at how you are using each of these respective components to prosper in your life.

  • Understanding Strongholds (Part 3)

    02/04/2018 Duración: 12min

A stronghold is a negative, destructive pattern of thought that satan has built into our minds either through repetition, traumatic experiences, or other circumstances. The enemy wants to create a partition in your mind that separates the truth that you have heard from what you act upon. He wants you to think that there is no use trying to change, or that the situation that you are in is permanent. In short, the strength of every stronghold is hopelessness. The key to living the victorious Christian life is to demolish the partition and allow what you know to translate into how you conduct your life.
