The prisoners in adjoining cells are wide awake, listening to them pray and sing.

Fatigue has set in on everything. A recent Harvard Business Review says this - "We are dealing with the virus AND the emotions that it is creating. Negative emotions are every bit as contagious as the virus…fatigue, fear, and panic undermine our ability to think clearly and creatively, manage our relationships effectively, focus attention on the right priorities, and make smart, informed choices." Over the past few months, we have all experienced fatigue in some of these areas. t’s sometimes hard to be creative and think clearly. Our actions are not always lining up with our priorities. Finally, managing relationships can be difficult. So, how we can align our faith in the midst of crisis fatigue? 1.) Clarity in Chaos "When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth. For the Lord God had not yet sent rain to water the earth, and there were no people to cultivate the soil. Instead, springs came up from the ground and watered all the land." - Genes

This week, we're looking at the idea of Thanksgiving and how we can live our life to God as a gift of Thanksgiving. "The sacrifice that honors me is a thankful heart." -Psalm 50:23a (CEV) Why should our lives be a thank you gift to God? Pastor Denny shares reasons why this week. 1.) We can be thankful for WHO God is. 2.) We can be thankful because of WHAT God has done. 3.) We can be thankful through communion. In today's passage (Luke 15), Jesus is speaking to a group of sinners and tax collectors as he loved to do. Among them were a bunch of self righteous and hard-hearted Pharisees and teachers of the religious law. Verse two tells us the they were “muttering” to each other that he was with sinners and tax collectors. Jesus knew their thoughts and took a moment to bring perspective to them. He shares the parables of the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Lost Son. Each parable demonstrates God’s love for the lost and the joy he experiences when his children return "home," not as in heaven, but in relationship with Christ. “Your kingdom come your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven." (Matthew 6:10) Jesus never preached to go straight to heaven, He preached that heaven would come to earth! “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven
