A show with very little meaning, and a show that very closely resembles the same show WrestleDream was just last month. Tony Khan's anticipated return to the Ariel Helwani show resulted in one of the worst interviews of the entire year, showcasing how Tony Khan can't answer questions properly, and has a nasty tendency to LIE on such a public platform. This time, Ariel pressed him on situations, ratings, and CM Punk but you know, everything is in the eye of the beholder. Also, WWE had a major week for their brand, with an EPIC show from Madison Square Garden with 5 returns, War Games set up (at least for the Men's War Games) with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar rounding out the field, and John Cena's last match ever on a Monday Night. Survivor Series is taking shape in San Diego, and tonight we dissect the creative direction heading into that major PLE. SmackDown is already one of the worst shows on TV at 2 hours. Imagine it at 3 hours. That's what's coming AGAIN in January of 2026 as USA Network is ordering 3 hours SmackDowns for most of 2026. This is a terrible decision, and one that needs some major changes if it plans to survive on Friday nights.

It seems like the news is more interesting than the actual pro wrestling product as of late. John Cena wins the WWE Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night Raw with 3 dates remaining. Speaking of Survivor Series, it looks like both Mens, and Women's War Games teams are set, and it's not the most exciting of all the War Games builds. Ridge Holland has been very vocal about being let go by WWE, while in the middle of recovering from an injury that took place on a TNA show. WWE felt like Ridge Holland breached his contract being vocal about his situation, and a Go Fund Me was started. Then it wasn't, and he came under scrutiny from about feeling he scammed them.
