The Rock and Roman Reigns return to SmackDown tonight to confront Triple H about the Cody Rhodes problem at WrestleMania 40. The Rock, and Roman Reigns were planning to have the biggest WrestleMania main event of all-time against each other, but Rhodes ruined that idea by changing his mind and using his Royal Rumble win to challenge Reigns for the WWE Universal championship at WrestleMania 40.

WWE fans were thrown into a frenzy this week, as both WE WANT CODY, and WE WANT ROCKY hashtags went viral on social media following WWE SmackDown, where Cody Rhodes just handed over his desired WrestleMania match with Roman Reigns over to the Rock. Nobody knew why, and nobody understood why such a decision was made. When did the Rock make up phis mind, and what was promised to him? Why did he decide NOW was the right time to get the match done with Roman Reigns, when WWE has been building Cody Rhodes up for a rematch since LASY YEARS WrestleMania? Why didn't WWE just give Rock the Royal Rumble win this year? Is The Rock basically the next Vince McMahon, and should fans be worried about his already inflated ego taking center stage over long term creative? It looks like WWE is set to change plans after the WE WANT CODY hashtag went viral all weekend on social media. How will WWE get Cody Rhodes into the Main Event of WrestleMania 40, and why it is NOT A WORK, and VERY MUCH A SHOOT. This is a WWE creative mistake, that they will try and spin, making you think it was the plan all along. 

WWE reportedly promised The Rock a WrestleMania 40 Main Event if he took a seat on the Board of Directors, which raises ONE HUGELY IMPORTANT QUESTION. WWE is also monitoring The Rock, and Cody Rhodes situation very closely on social media, where there is a possibility internally, this could all change, and turn into one huge "work". Dave Meltzer already believes it has reached that level with the "WE WANT CODY" hashtag trending all weekend on social media. 

48 hours later, and people are still talking about the mess The Rock made on WWE SmackDown by taking Cody Rhodes' WrestleMania 40 Main Event spot away from him. Now reports are out that The Rock is even pushing for himself to beat Roman Reigns, and win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. Internally, this hasn't gone over well with several saying that The Rock is undermining the story, and the fanbase with his ego.
