WWE SummerSlam 2023 full show review, and results with JDfromNY. JDfromNY reviews SummerSlam 2023 for Saturday August 5th, 2023. The 36th edition of SummerSlam proved to be a rather disappointing one when it was all over. A decent show that fell flat, with a dull Detroit crowd. Jey Uso was betrayed by his brother Jimmy Uso, as Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns engaged in Tribal Combat for the WWE Universal Championship. Seth Rollins defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor, as The Judgement have major problems heading into Monday Night Raw. GUNTHER defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Drew McIntyre, and Cody Rhodes finally slays Brock Lesnar. Also, IYO SKY cashes in her Money In The Bank to become the new WWW Women's Champion, and Ricochet and Logan Paul try and go viral in a one on one match.

The SmackDown SummerSlam go-home show takes place this evening at the Wright State University's Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. Jey Uso is set to appear on tonight's show ahead of his Tribal Combat showdown with Roman Reigns tomorrow night. Jey Uso thought he got the better of Reigns and Solo Sikoa on last week's show, but the duo ended up standing tall in the middle of the ring after delivering two vicious Samoan Spike/Spear combos.Meanwhile, reigning WWE Women's Champion Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair are scheduled to be in attendance before they face each other in a triple threat match for the women's belt at the SummerSlam premium live event. The AEW and WWE Women's Divisions both took a hit this week with fans asking for "Better Women's Wrestling" after a terrible match between Taya Valkyrie, and Britt Baker that resulted in drama coming out of the AEW Women's Locker Room. On the WWE side, WWE pulls Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus from SummerSlam, and has no plans for Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam. Logan Paul and Ricochet will also be on RAW to promote their SummerSlam match. Tonight was the night that it should have happened, and didn't, as SmackDown was an absolute creative mess from top to bottom. 

AEW Dynamite 7/19/23 full show review, and results with JDfromNY. JDfromNY reviews AEW Dynamite for July 19th, 2023 on Off The Script. The biggest selling point of the show tonight is the Blood and Guts match. The bout will see Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta team up with PAC and Konosuke Takeshita to battle Kenny Omega, Adam Page, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and Kota Ibushi inside the cage. The Blood and Guts match marks Ibushi's AEW debut following months of speculation about his future after leaving NJPW.  Also, HOOK has been out to get revenge on "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry since his old tag team partner betrayed him at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Peacock has announced the official premiere date along and dropped the official trailer for the new documentary American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes, days before he wrestles Brock Lesnar for a third time at SummerSlam on August 5th. The agenda to push Cody towards the top is in full effect but will WWE finally embrace what people have known for years...that Cody Rhodes is someone who the people want to lead the company for years to come. WWE Raw 7/17/23 full show review, and results with JDfromNY. JDfromNy reviews WWE Raw for Monday July 17th, 2023 on Off The Script. The big story on the show is the return of Brock Lesnar, who's expected to answer Cody Rhodes' challenge to a tiebreaker match at SummerSlam. Also, Alpha Academy's Otis and Chad Gable are scheduled to face Erik and Ivar of the Viking Raiders in a Viking Rules Match. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green, and The Judgment Day will be looking to earn a shot at the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles by defeating champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Dominik Mysterio sent a message to Owens and Zayn over the weekend, in which he declared Judgment Day's intention to dethrone the champs. Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER will also be in action as he's set to battle Matt Riddle with Imperium banned from ringside.
