589: The Culture and Attitude Change
15/10/2019 Duración: 57minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke can't let the good feelings of this Celtics preseason end. Jaylen Brown's improved handle and left handed finishes at the rim and Carsen Edwards' bucket getting are just the latest positive signs for the 2020 Celtics. The big rotation is still bit fuzzy, but the culture and attitude change have pushed those concerns to the back. In the outtakes, it's Tacko Time as the team officially added Tacko Fall as a 2 way player and Jon is excited to have Tacko up in Maine with the Red Claws. Learn more about your ad choices. 588: Shot Selection and Ball Movement
09/10/2019 Duración: 39minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke talked about the Celtics first preseason game against the Charlotte Hornets. Good signs from Jayson Tatum's shot selection and Gordon Hayward relentless attack toward the basket left some very positive signs for the 2020 Celtics. The CSL guys rounded out the show by running up and down the roster and seeing how expectations met reality through at least one game. Then in the outtakes, Justin had some real concerns regarding the hysteria surrounding Tacko Fall. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

587: All About #11
01/10/2019 Duración: 43minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke were so glad for Media Day 2019 but things went off the rails fast. Jon brought up Kyrie Irving's answer last week as to why he left Boston and Justin was not interested in discussing it. At. All. In the show's second half, the CSL boys pivoted to some of the optimism surrounding today's media availability. Yet it was Enes Kanter's mention in the outtakes that brought back some vitriol from the show's opening minutes. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

586: Predictions
24/09/2019 Duración: 58minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke avoided the pleasantries and jumped head first into the first 2020 Celtics season preview of the podcast world. Jon and Justin gave their best guesses as to the team's starting lineup, closing lineup, and win total; before moving on to a player by player breakdown. It's fast moving, but a very comprehensive look on the Celtics in the fascinating season to come. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

585: Training Camp is Two Weeks Away
16/09/2019 Duración: 41minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke caught up with the FIBA disappointment and how the Celtics on Team USA showed tremendous growth. In the second half of show, the CSL boys talked about Brad Stevens' interview on CLNS's Good N Plenty podcast with Jeff Goodman. Brad had some interesting comments on what needs to be the focus for the Celtics in 2020 and beyond. Finally, in the outtakes, it was all sushi all the time. And Jon remains a wimp for not being willing to give raw seafood a shot. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

584: Parallels
09/09/2019 Duración: 32minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke didn't have a whole lot of Celtics news to pour over this week, but Team USA is filing the void quite nicely. A pair of wins against Japan and Greece put the Team USA into the World Cup quarterfinals, but it was the work of Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart that drew the CSL guys' interest. If Smart can defend players like Giannis from time to time as he did against Greece on Saturday and Brown can rebound a bit, then the Death Squad lineup of Kemba, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, and Smart just might work. Before wrapping an abbreviated show to watch the Patriots opener, Justin wondered whether players forcing their way out, as Antonio Brown did this week, will become even more commonplace. 583: Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto
04/09/2019 Duración: 48minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke put down their rosary beads praying for Jayson Tatum's injured ankle for a brief moment to podcast. Tatum's injury was front and center for this episode, and his continuingly growing role. In the show's second half, the CSL guys looked further into the Tatum/Brown/Kemba/Smart/Gordon lineup they talked about last week and the needed defensive intensity from that unit to compete in 2020. Last up... in the outtakes... Justin schooled Jon on the value of sushi and what a "Philly Roll" really is. Dig in. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

582: Jon and Justin talk themselves into optimism
28/08/2019 Duración: 44minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke lamented the long postseason but jumped into the reasons why this offseason seems particularly long. In the show's second half, the CSL guys examined the reasons as to why optimism still exists in spite of such a challenging offseason. Could Brad Stevens use an incredibly experimental lineup? Lastly, in the outtakes, Justin wants in on the Enes Kanter phenomenon. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

581: Justin Hates The Offseason
21/08/2019 Duración: 50minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke broke down Tacko Fall's visit to the teacups at Canobie Lake Park before moving on to the Shamrock Team USA's move down under in preparation for the FIBA World Cup. With only a scrimmage against Spain to discuss, it was time to dig deep back into the vault. But first Justin had to completely embarrass himself on the Manscaped ad read. Then in the show's second half, the CSL guys took exception to Sean Grande's comparison on Celtics Beat of Horford's move to Philly to Ray Allen's departure to South Beach. Finally, in the outtakes, it was a revisiting of the Winning Plays' pod discussion of what happened if the Kyrie Irving trade never happened. In short... it's a strange scenario of dogs and cats living together. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

580: ...Act Like They Forgot About Beal
14/08/2019 Duración: 47minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke owned up to their promise to discuss the potential availability of Bradley Beal in trade discussions and how interested the Celtics should be. In the show's second half the CSL guys looked at the USA Basketball scrimmage and how Pop and Kerr can help Brad Stevens in building a winner in Boston. Before wrapping up to discuss hate and discontent for Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant, Justin and Jon looked at the recently released Celtics schedule and which dates they have circled on the calendar for particular interest. 579: Brown and Brinks Truck
08/08/2019 Duración: 01h02minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke couldn't wait to talk about the Team USA x Team Shamrock crossover and the rookies showing up at Fenway for last night's Red Sox game. However, it wasn't before the inanity of those topics turned to the future of Jaylen Brown through the prism of a pair of CelticsBlog articles which weighed the decision making surrounding a contract extension. Another illuminating article from NBC Sports Boston's Chris Forsberg tried to trace Kyrie Irving's transition from "if you'll have me" to chatting with Spencer Dinwiddie about playing together just 8 weeks later. The Kyrie situation is just about in everyone's rear view mirror but understanding why it went awry is a necessary evil. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

578: Our Next Show Will Be About Bradley Beal
26/07/2019 Duración: 45minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke are pretty excited to see the Team USA Celtics compete in the FIBA World Cup in September, but more importantly it will be great to see Kemba, Tatum, and maybe even Smart and Jaylen building chemistry in the pre-season. In the show's second half, the guys looked at Keith Smith's article on CelticsBlog which provided a heaping pile of nuggets on the 2020 Boston Celtics. From Kemba to Tacko to Tremont Waters, there's a series of good stuff there to chew on. And in the outtakes the CSL fellas look ahead to fitting the JayJayHay minutes together and then considering the next episode focused on Bradley Beal. Learn more about your ad choices. 577: How Will Summer League Translate?
17/07/2019 Duración: 40minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke recapped a successful run through the Las Vegas Summer League that provided a glimmer of positive thought to a dour 2019 for the Boston Celtics. The guys debated which of the Celtics rookies would have the bigger impact in the season to come. In the show's second half, with Kemba Walker introduced to the world on Tuesday, the CSL guys looked at his impact in Boston. Will he be an immediate fan favorite? What role will his leadership play in assessing his impact to the team. Finally in the outtakes, Justin wanted to talk about the culture and whether staff departures over the past several years had some impact on the chemistry issues of the 2019 squad. A good chat in here... Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

576: Summer League Is Fun!
10/07/2019 Duración: 48minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke surveyed the new NBA world order with Kawhi and Paul George with the Clippers and seemingly the majority of the NBA talent set in their new homes. Despite losing a pair of All Stars, and gaining another, the Celtics just might be in a spot where they can make a run toward the NBA Finals. Doing so requires a lot of help form the rookies chosen in June's NBA Draft, but there are a number of signs of hope from the Summer League games so far. Are there answers for the shallow center rotation? Ummm..... Lastly, there's some wiggling in the outtake not to be missed. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

575: A Sincere Goodbye to Horford
01/07/2019 Duración: 52minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke were happy with the Celtics' biggest free agent signing in franchise history, but the most impactful moves of the early hours of free agency came when Kyrie and KD joined up in Brooklyn and Al Horford went to Philly. The loss of Horford stings and Jon and Justin chatted about what the Celtics will do without their anchor. Then the CSL guys looked around the league... This was a wild one folks. 574: The Draft Recap
24/06/2019 Duración: 01h01minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke looked at Thursday's NBA Draft as the Celtics turned page from the Kyrie - Horford era... or did they? Jon and Justin looked at the Celtics choices of Romeo Langford, Grant Williams, Carsen Edwards, and Tremont Waters and the likelihood of their making an impact on the team this season. In the post credits outtake, Justin had an interesting name to attach to the Celtics' newly create max slot. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

573: Anthony Davis is a Laker?!
17/06/2019 Duración: 01h11minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke picked up the pieces following the trade of Anthony Davis to the Lakers with the CSL guys on opposite ends of this one. Jon's disappointment at the inability to start a prolonged period of Celtics dominance with Davis and Kyrie at the helm remained strong, but the cost of the Lakers deal was so over the top... well, it's hard to be that upset. Justin, on the other hand, was over the moon and can't wait to see how Tatum, Brown, and Smart lead the franchise into a new era. Before wrapping up, we got into a little bit of a draft talk and how the "flatness" of the draft from 4 to 14 or so impacts Boston and their targets. Learn more about your ad choices. 572: Woj Bombs and Rich Paul
13/06/2019 Duración: 35minCeltics Stuff Live's Justin Poulin and Jon Duke ran through an avalanche of Celtics rumors of the day starting with the Woj Bomb that the Celtics have entered serious trade discussions to acquire Anthony Davis. Coming just hours after SI's cover story on Rich Paul where Paul states Davis will hit free agency next summer if he's dealt to Boston, the concept of Boston pushing ahead on trading for Davis is seriously intriguing. Then coupling the interest in Davis with Kyrie's questionable future... it's a wild time in the Celtics offices on Causeway Street. Not to mention Kevin Durant's achilles injury and what that does to Kyrie's supposed plans to pair up with KD in New York... in Brooklyn or Manhattan with the Knicks. Whew.... 1 week till the Draft.
