The guys also wanted to get Jason’s thoughts on the Pirates signing Ryan O’Hearn. Jason was adamant that the team is ‘not done’ making offseason moves. Jason doesn’t feel strongly that Andrew McCutchen will be back after some of these off-season acquisitions. Jason said Paul Skenes has to be feeling pretty good about what has happened so far and thinks a player like O’Hearn also takes some leadership lifting off Skenes’ shoulders. Mike Tomlin said that he is excited to see what Roman Wilson can do after the suspension of DK Metcalf. When Shaq Lawson did something similar to DK Metcalf, there was no discipline from the NFL. Poni says that he would not be surprised if the Steelers think the punishment would have been less harsh if nobody was watching the game. We wondered how all of this escalated and what is going on with the fan, Ryan Kennedy, who targeted Metcalf in the heckling incident that resulted in Metcalf throwing a punch. How messy is this going to get? BREAKING: The Pirates have signed Ryan O’Hearn to a 2-year deal. Ben Cherington is starting to make things happen. Can you believe it? How are we feeling? Jeremy Conn from The Big Bad Morning Show in Baltimore joined the show. Jeremy told the guys what the Pirates are getting in Ryan O’Hearn. He described him as a ‘great’ clubhouse guy and someone fans will love against right-handed pitching.
