In Episode 37 of For All You Kids Out There, we have actual Mets news to discuss, dodgy rural internet connections be damned. There's Arbitration Avenue Audio...wait, wrong show. Uh, For All You...Arbiters Out There...yeah, we'll go with that. The Mets aren't making Friends with Wilmer Flores. Sorry, sorry, I am trying to delete it. Next we talk Spring Training invites and muse on if David Roseboom could make the team as a second lefty, and how agog people will be watching Luis Guillorme nee Luis Guillermo in infield drills.In the second half of the show, it's our most esoteric David Roth segment yet. If that doesn't entice you, you probably stopped listening to us months ago.In the third half of the show we discuss the Pirates and Cardinals prospect lists and then answer your e-mails with only a bare minimum of pro wrestling content.

We here at For All You Kids recognize that this is nominally a Mets podcast, so we should try and find as much Mets content as possible to fill your headphones, even in the rather fallow Winter news period. In Episode 35 of For All You Kids Out There, Jarrett and Jeffrey have nothing to talk about, so we decide to turn the agenda over to their Facebook group. This goes...uh, exactly as you would expect. In Episode 34 of For All You Kids Out There, a gravelly-voiced and coughing pair of co-hosts meander through the meager Mets news of the week. In the first half of the show we talk about all the relievers the Mets aren't signing and when they might actually get some of that vaunted payroll flexibility back. It might involve trading Jay Bruce which we also discuss for what seems like the tenth straight week. There's also Hall of Fame and prospect list chat.In the second half of the show we are joined by Baseball Prospectus writer Meg Rowley who makes an impassioned play for a second season of Pitch and a Hall of Fame plaque for Edgar Martinez.In the third half of the show we answer your correspondence and try to figure out what is the plan for Wrestlemania.  

In Episode 33 (which apparently isn't actually Episode 33 but we will soldier on) of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett recap the Winter Meetings. We hope you like Triple-A phase of the Rule 5 draft chat! We do talk a bit about the major league phase too, as well as the Red Sox acquiring Chris Sale, the Cardinals acquiring Dexter Fowler, and the Venezuelan Winter League not acquiring Michael Conforto. In the second half of the show, in what we imagine will be the first and last White Sox segment in podcast history, we are joined by Nick Schaefer of BP South Side to discuss Chicago's ridiculous prospect haul this past week.In the third half of the show, we answer your e-mails, discover a hidden Jordan Valdespin treasure on MiLB.tv, and Jarrett rants about long indy wrestling shows. In Episode 32 of For All You Kids Out There, we have a lot to cover as the Winter Meetings kickoff in D.C. In the first half of the show we further examine the fallout from the Yoenis Cespedes contract and what it might mean for the Mets as they head into the busiest week of the offseason. There's also some Mets news. Zack Wheeler might be headed to the pen. Is this gonna work? There's been some internal promotions on the player development side as well, which is the kind of thing that happens this time of year. Plus there are the Yankees and Red Sox farm systems to discuss and a new CBA to analyze.In the second half of the show we are joined by David Roth of Vice Sports, who also convenniently happens to be the author of the Rays chapter into the 2017 Baseball Prospectus Annual (available for pre-order at Amazon.com of course). In Episode 30 of For All You Kids Out There, it is another slow news week in Metsland, so Jeffrey and Jarrett spend most of the first half of the show talking about Hunter Harvey. It happens. Also the Jean Segura trade. As this is nominally a Mets podcast we do talk about Gary Cohen and Tim Teufel.In the second half of the show we are jjoined by Skyler Kanfer of BP Mets to go over the 21st to 30th best prospects in the Mets system as news breaks all around us.And in the third half of the show we answer a question about...uh...Gary Cohen, and chat a bit about the pro wrestling. In Episode 29 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett discuss the paucity of Mets news for the week. The Rule 5 adds quickly get sidedrained into a consideration of whether Phil Evans would make the Marlins Top Ten. Jarrett is very excited about Eric Campbell's NPB career, and we are both pretty copacetic with Neil Walker accepting the qualifying offer.In the second half of the show we are joined once again by Craig Goldstein to discuss the rest of the NL East farm systems, Jeffrey defends his Dominic Smith and Andres Gimenez rankings, we all compare Lucas Giolito and Robert Gsellman again, and no one really wants to talk about the Marlins farm system.In the third half of the show, Jeffrey and Jarrett barely make it through housekeeping without getting distracted, then we answer your e-mails, and then Brady comes on for an hour (where did I lose control of this show) to talk about Rick Porcello and the pro wrestling.

It's Episode 28 of For All You Kids Out There. It's been a weird week, folks. We've lost Leonard Cohen and Bartolo Colon, two of the muses of the pod. We will soldier on though as we try and figure out what happened to the 2017 Mets starting pitching depth, ponder the qualifying offers to Neil Walker and Yoenis Cespedes, propose Jay Bruce trades, and go deep on the upcoming Rule 5 draft protections. In the second half of the show we are joined by Trevor Strunk of Baseball Prospectus to discuss the Phillies and Braves prospect lists. We pick our sides in the epic Cozens/Hoskins feud and try and figure out how good the Braves will be in 2017.In the third half of the show we answer your e-mails and Facebook queries and then Jarrett talks about UFC 205 for a freaking half hour. You've been warned. 

In Episode 27 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett are taking the end of baseball season (and the end of Daylight Savings Time) particularly hard. There is Mets news to discuss though, and almost none of it is good. We start in the first half with a chat about Jeurys Familia's recent arrest on Domestic Violence charges before moving on to a less depressing topic like the Mets picking up Jay Bruce's option. We say our goodbyes to Jim Henderson and Eric Campbell (that one perhaps only temporary) before wrapping up the segment with, what else, Yusmeiro Petit talk.In the second half of the show we discuss the Mets prospect stuff like the existence of Luis Silva (which we had sort of forgotten about until recent events) and how to rank Dominic Smith, Justin Dunn, and Desmond Lindsay.Then in the third half of the show, we answer your emails, and talk wrestling themes, New Japan Pro Wrestling news,and Canadian syndicated procedurals.

In Episode 26 of For All You Kids Out There, there is actually some Mets news to talk about this week, but it is a case of "be careful what you wish for." Before we get into the actual news though, Jeffrey and Jarrett discuss where they get their jeans and somehow Carlos Tocci doesn't come up. Then it is time to move onto Yoenis Cespedes, who might be, uh, moving on. We also discuss Curtis Granderson winning the Roberto Clemente award, and delve further into the Mets system looking at the prospects far away from the majors.In the second half of the show we are joined by Craig Goldstein to talk about the World Series so far and introduce the Baseball Prospectus Team Top 10 prospect lists.In the third half of the show we answer your emails, except we don't really have any answers, and we end the show talking about New Jersey Transit and Tim Tebow.

In Episode 25 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett survey the last week of Mets baseball news and find...well nothing, really. So how is this show two hours long? Well if you haven't figured that out 25 episodes in, we can't help you. On the docket in the first half, Jeffrey and Jarrett talk Jon Niese (for the last time?), Jose Reyes (for the last time), and survey the Mets farm system as we head into prospect list season.In the second half of the show, we are joined by Kate Morrison to preview the 2016 World Series and mostly talk about Kyle Schwarber of Jarrett's second-favorite team, the Chicago Cubs.In the third half of the show we answer your e-mails on minimum salaries, the Mets injury management, and trading for Paul Goldschmidt, before the usual wrestling chat wraps things up. 

In Episode 24 of For All You Kids Out There, we have a lot of time to kill until there will be any actual Mets new of import to talk about. And it is even longer until pitchers and catchers report. Sigh. So what to do in the interim? Well, in the first half of the show we will make do with the scraps of a fallow news cycle. Terry Collins might be retiring, Tim Tebow might be really bad at baseball, and Neil Walker might be getting a qualifying offer (this is really somehow a discussion about Bartolo Colon).In the second half of the show, BP's Minor League Editor Craig Goldstein joins the show to talk about the Dodgers/Nats series, where the Nats go from here, and MLB conspiracy theories. In the third half of the show, we answer your e-mails, and eventually the podcast devolves into, per usual, Jeffrey and Jarrett just listing off wrestling matches. 

In Episode 23 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett put a bow on the 2016 Mets season by going through the team's entire roster, finding time for digressions (as we do) on Wilmer Flores' hamate, Jeurys Familia's future, Cespedes' opt-out, Bartolo Colon's greatness, and Jon Niese's 2017 contract status. We also chat a bit about Tim Tebow's impending Arizona Fall League debut before answering your emails on Andrew McCutchen, bad drafts, and the best pitches in the Mets organization.

"On the day that i become so forgetful that all of this melts away, I will burn all the calanders that counted the years down to such a worthless day."It's nobody's fault really, but here we are. Time for Jarrett to write a bunch of the stuff for the Annual and figure out how many dudes he needs to cut from the 40 to add Marcos Molina. Assuming he ever gets out of the Citi Field parking lot of course. Jeffrey will be trying to figure out how much he needs to drink to write about the Marlins system. Life goes on. 

The Mets are in the playoffs, sort of. So this is a playoff preview, sort of. In the first half of the show we are joined by David Roth to reflect on the 2016 Mets season, the snack options in Wilmington DE, and the Justin Ruggiano experience. In the second half of the show, Jonathan Bernhardt from Today's Knuckleball comes on to discuss the rest of the playoffs, dish out some trolls, and read out bad Orioles drafts. Finally in the third half of the show, we answer your e-mails and bicker about the Wild Card game roster.

We didn't really feel like doing a podcast honestly, but there is always baseball to talk about, and that is why it is the best, even when it is also the worst.

In Episode 20 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett aren't quite ready to be discussing playoff rosters yet, but are very ready to discuss Noah Syndergaard, Jacob deGrom, Gabriel Ynoa, and multiple Riveras in the first half of the show. In the second half, Toby Hyde is here to discuss the development of Robert Gsellman, Seth Lugo, and solar energy projections. And in the third half of the show we answer your e-mails, and then talk pro wrestling for an hour with Tom Holzerman. Consider yourself forewarned.
