The ranks of the Division I’s undefeated teams are down to 9 entering December. It’s a relatively small group for less than four weeks into the season, and it is not filled with low-major contenders. "Point guard". It is arguably the deepest position in the NBA, and certainly the one that has changed the most in the last 15 years. Just a few years ago, it seemed that the shooting guard position was fairly shallow. As many times as we may have declared the big man a "thing of the past" in the NBA, every summer you can look up and find some team handing an oversized contract to an oversized player for little reason other than size itself (see Timofey Mosgov’s $64 million dollar contract). Center is one of the deepest positions in the NBA, but it’s also the most flawed.
