General Gridiron

The general is taking over for the professor, and he's got a full load of Week 9 picks. Texas A&M and Ole Miss meet in Oxford, Miami hosts Clemson, while Michigan State hopes to continue its lucky run against pesky Indiana.

Week 7 features a bevy of big time matchups: Florida at LSU, Michigan State at Michigan, Alabama at Texas A&M, and Ole Miss at Memphis.  Also, the Utes welcome Arizona State to Salt Lake City, and undefeated Florida State hosts mysterious Louisville.

The ole Professor stepped out this week, so The General is giving his best take on the Week 6 battles.  Northwestern and Michigan duel in a Big Ten biggie, flood-ravaged South Carolina picks up and moves its home game with LSU to Baton Rouge, and Oklahoma and Texas meet in the AT&T Red River Showdown at the Cotton Bowl.

Georgia welcomes Alabama "Between the Hedges."  Notre Dame crosses the sweet tea line for a date in Clemson's Death Valley.  Ole Miss and Florida have a Top 25 skirmish in The Swamp.  Also in Week 5: West Virginia visits Oklahoma, Mississippi State plays at Texas A&M, and Arizona heads northwest to Stanford.

Tennessee invades The Swamp during this Week 4 of college football.  ACC Coastal foes Duke and Georgia Tech duel in Durham.  UCLA heads south to Arizona for a Pac-12 showdown.  Plus, No. 3 Ole Miss hosts Vanderbilt, LSU meets Syracuse, and Oklahoma State rides into Austin.

Alabama and Ole Miss open SEC play in a highly-ranked tussle in T-Town.  The Battle for the Iron Skillet features Metroplex neighbors SMU and TCU.  Other Week 3 matchups include Georgia Tech and Notre Dame meeting in the shadows of Touchdown Jesus, and undefeateds Auburn and LSU dueling in Death Valley.

Oregon and Michigan State ramble in East Lansing, while their archrivals Oregon State and Michigan duel down in the The Big House.  Georgia starts SEC play at Vanderbilt, and Kentucky hits the coop for a date with South Carolina.  Also in Week 2: Georgia Tech hosts Tulane, Oklahoma wagon trains to Tennessee, and Florida State looks for revenge against South Florida.

Fall 2015 debut.  Professor Percy is ready to go with a host of opening weekend picks, including Alabama versus Wisconsin, Auburn and Louisville's match in Atlanta, and Nebraska hosting BYU.  Also, we have a Labor Day-sized bevy of quick picks.

Bowl Bonanza.  On this final show of the year, the Ole Professor analyzes the "New Year's Six" games, including Ohio State versus Alabama.  Other bowl duels include Clemson-Oklahoma, LSU-Notre Dame, Miami-South Carolina, and Arkansas-Texas. 

Championship Saturday.  The ole professor shares his lesson plan for the SEC title match featuring Alabama and Missouri, the ACC duel between Georgia Tech and Florida State, and the Big Ten's title tilt pitting Wisconsin against Ohio State.  Also in this 15th weekend of college football, we examine the Big 12 regular season finale between Kansas State and Baylor; and the second round of the FCS Playoffs.

Rivalry Weekend.  No. 1 Alabama seeks a "Kick Six" revenge against Iron Bowl nemesis Auburn.  Minnesota and Wisconsin meet with a title on the line.  Other Week 14 games include un-mighty Michigan visiting Ohio State, No. 4 Mississippi State at Ole Miss, South Carolina at Clemson, and a Top 15 battle "Between the Hedges" pitting Georgia against Georgia Tech.

USC and UCLA meet in the Rose Bowl, Ole Miss takes on resurgent Arkansas, and Stanford and Cal reenact their famous clash.  Also in this 13th week of the year, Vanderbilt visits No. 4 Mississippi State, the Eagles of Boston College fly down to Florida State, and Oklahoma State bivouacs at Baylor.

No. 1 Mississippi State drives an hour east on US 84 to face Alabama as an underdog in a Top 5 matchup at Bryant-Denny Stadium.  Other big matchups during this 12th week of college football include LSU at Arkansas, Florida State at Miami, Clemson at Georgia Tech, and Nebraska at Wisconsin.

Nick Saban returns to Death Valley with a mad bunch of CFP No. 5 pachyderms.  Virginia travels south to face No. 2 Florida State.  Also in this 11th week of college football, Michigan State hosts Ohio State, Notre Dame basks in sunny Arizona State, and resurgent Florida faces Vanderbilt in Music City.

Georgia and Florida renew their Cocktail Party affair in Jacksonville.  Arkansas looks for its first conference win at No. 1 Mississippi State.  Also in Week 10, Stanford travels north to No. 5 Oregon, Auburn visits Ole Miss, North Carolina invades Miami, and West Virginia hosts TCU.

Kentucky hosts No. 1 Mississippi State in a Week 9 Cats and Dogs donnybrook.  Also, Ohio State travels to Happy Valley, South Carolina looks to rebound at Auburn, Arizona State visits Washington, and Ole Miss and LSU renew their historic rivalry in Death Valley.

Notre Dame visits Florida State in this Week 8 clash of Top 5 titans.  Also, the Professor studies Baylor at West Virginia, Tennessee at Ole Miss, Georgia at Arkansas, Oklahoma State at TCU, Washington at Oregon and Virginia at Duke.

Mississippi State hosts Auburn in a battle of Top 3 teams at Davis Wade Stadium.  Clemson welcomes ACC newcomer Louisville to a Week 7 Death Valley showdown, while undefeated Georgia Tech goes Coastal against Duke.  And the Razorbacks hope to continue Alabama's misery for one more week.

No. 1 Alabama visits Ole Miss in the first true road contest for Nick Saban's club.  Less than 100 miles south of Oxford, unbeatens Texas A&M and Mississippi State square-off.  And the Professor's Week 6 lesson plan includes ACC Coastal duel Miami at Georgia Tech, Baylor at Texas, and Stanford at Notre Dame.

The Professor lectures on Saturday's Aggie-Hog high falutin' in Arlington, Texas.  Also, Tennessee leaves Rocky Top for the Hedges of Athens, Baylor takes on Iowa State, and Memphis renews its rivalry with Mid-South neighbor Ole Miss during Week 5 of the college football season.
