We had the very special opportunity to host a prayer meeting for Scott Brubaker's co-workers. The service included an update from Scott, readings from the Bible, the Gospel and closing thoughts from Pastor Tim. (NOTE: The prayer times were not recorded)

When God calls you into His work, how do you know it's going well? As humans we gauge success on how others respond to us. But in God's economy it's not that way. This week we explore what it means to be successful when we join God in what He's doing around us. This service also features an update from Scott Brubaker.

Following Jesus will cost something. Christ said so and history has demonstrated it true. So what compels someone to forgo the comforts, desires and attractions of this life to follow Jesus?

Watching loved ones suffer can leave us with uncertainties about what we understand about God. This week we learned that Scott Brubaker, one of our Elders, has to undergo brain surgery to remove a mass. We set aside our plans for the service and spent our time reflecting on how God might be using Scott's illness to deepen our faith.

There are many rewards of following Christ but in our sermon today we focus on three of them. In addition to these three we also look at what we shouldn't expect from our walk with Christ -- for all things to work out the way we think they should!

An ebenezer, a memorial of God's power and provision. Today we learn about how God provided our church campus. We were also encouraged to consider instances in our life when God had powerfully acted and raise an 'ebenezer' to memorialize that event.

This Sunday Greg Shipley teaches from Matthew 9 about compassion. what is it? Why don't we extend it to others? How Christ helps us extend the compassion He gives to us! This Sunday also features the testimony of Bob W about how the Experiencing God study has effected his life.

The relationships and people in your life are there for a reason. God is at work among them and anxious to work through you and I to impact their lives.

Self-centered living is always at war with a God-centered life. One of the benefits of living a god-centered life is that we choose to seek God's perspective in our circumstances. This makes all the difference in the world when it comes to going through difficult times and suffering!

Many of us get intimidated when we think God would have some huge task to entrust to us. But in reality, the most major work God wants to do is one IN us! Do we overlook that?

This week we begin a new sermon series based on Henry Blackaby's book, "Experiencing God." Our first sermon explores whether the question of God's will for my life is really the right question to be asking at all!

Although Chris had recently lived in North Carolina for several years, his family wanted to have a memorial service for him in Bucks County, PA where he had grown up. Chris's love for life gave us many stories to share and memories to relive. We also encouraged each other with the promises of Jesus Christ, that He had welcomed Chris into his eternal heavenly home -- and that same welcome was waiting for all who know Christ as their SaviorIf you were unable to join us for Chris Raymond's Memorial Service you can hear all of the service but the musically portions of it here.

This morning's sermon follows the awards presentation of our children's missions reading program. We ask the question, "Is it enough to lead ordinary normal lives or does God call each of us to huge world-wide accomplishments?"

Always creative, thought provoking and application-oriented, Mark Nichols challenged us to honestly consider if we believe God can use each and every one of us.

Greg Shipley takes us through Hebrews 12 and draws great insight and application from the passage, especially regarding Christians and their sin.

In 2 Corinthians 4-5, Paul explains that while this life is difficult, those difficulties don't compare to what is to come for Believers in Christ. In the same passage he also explains the motivation Christians should have in their service for Christ -- accountability and Christ's example!

Paul teaches that comfort is not meant to only benefit us, but it should also be a comfort to others. Therefore, the comfort we receive in our difficult circumstances become a well we draw from as ministry to others.

Circumcision served as a symbol of the Law. Opposed to that was the Cross, the symbol of grace!

Bear one another's burdens -- this week we considered how to do that as a church to one of our Crossing families and assist them in their time of need.

Bud Ciotti, one of our Elders, took a turn in the the pulpit & challenged us to consider how God would have us make Paul's instruction to "bear one another's burdens" a reality in our life.
