With the recent release of BvS on DVD and BluRay, this latest Flashback episode from this past March finds all five Bears on the mic to weigh in on the film! Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is director Zack Snyder's follow-up to 2013's Man of Steel and is the second installment in the DC Extended Universe series of films. All five bears are back in the CBB den this week to talk about Suicide Squad, the third movie in the DC Extended Universe series of films. The film stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Viola Davis and Margot Robbie among the cast and our furry fivesome weigh in on whether Suicide Squad is a movie you should kill to see or if a neckbomb going off would be preferable. After that, the comic book talk starts with 4001 A.D.: War Mother, All-New X-Men, All-New Wolverine, Black Panther, Old Man Logan, the revival of Rom from IDW, The Vision, Darth Vader, Marvel's recent C-3PO special, Jupiter's Legacy and Superwoman each finding a berth on our spinner rack!

Steve is here to discuss his new project, the futuristic online comic Justin Zane! A Flashback from 12/2014: After an extended break, Billy Z, Bryan and Justin are back on the Comic Book Bears mic with nearly two hours of comic book and geek culture talk. Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly's AMAZING Multiversity: Pax Americana is up first in the spotlight! The comic talk continues with the bears boys weighing in ODY-C #1, Matt Fraction, purple nipples, Wonder Woman, AXIS, Thor, Superior Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the original Secret Wars, Mike Zeck, Kraven's ass, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Robert Hack, Action Comics, Superman in the New 52, comic book sales and the back issue market. They then take a non-comic detour to discuss the end of the current season of Doctor Who and the Star Wars Episode 7 teaser trailer. Then they turn on the TV to rap about what is happening on Gotham, Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Flash and Constantine. They wrap up as always with the Woof of the Week.  Word of caution - the boys are little more potty mouthed on this ep than usual for some reason. 

Here is another CBB Flashback from November, 2014.  This was recorded just after we had our first ever live show as part of New York Comic Con's Super Week and we brought on to the cast friend of the show Tom Nordin! The bear boys are back with a special guest in tow, long time listener and friend of the show Tom Nordin! On this week's episode we are honored to welcome to the show Legendary Comics' Editor in Chief Bob Schreck! Bob has been a longtime fixture in the comic world.  In the early eighties he worked for Creation Entertainment on their groundbreaking fan conventions and from there he transitioned to a position at Marvel and then as Administrative Director at Comico Comics. From there Bob moved onto an editorial position at Dark Horse Comics which he then left to co-found Oni Press. Toward the end of the last century, Bob moved over to DC Comics where he became the group editor for the Batman books as well as overseeing editorial duties on Green Lantern, Green Arrow, the creation of the All-Star imprint and later a stint with Vertigo. After leaving DC, Schreck joined IDW Publishing as a senior editor and since 2011, he has been a VP and EIC of Legendary Comics, the comic book wing of Legendary Pictures! DC Rebirth is an important event! So much so that Justin actually called in from his hospital bed to join Bryan, Steve and Bill to discuss the book! Written by Geoff Johns with art chores by a host of top name talent, DC Rebirth #1 effectively closes the door on the New 52 era and ushers in a new one! In this week's episode, all five Comic Book Bears are on hand to welcome to the show for the first time the incredible Sina Grace! A writer and illustrator, some of Sina's past projects include Burn the Orphanage, The Li'l Depressed Boy and Not My Bag among others.  Sina's most recent project is a web series based on his autobiographical graphic novel Self-Obsessed for Image (which he also stars in!) Our conversation with Sina covers the web series and those projects as well as bears, Scar Jo Sailor Moon, penises, more bears, Prince, working as an editor for Robert Kirkman's Skybound imprint, more penises, one particular syndicated comedy from the 1980's, Generation X and even more penises among other topics!
