CTCI is a ministry that is known throughout the world for its outreach to families, Christian leaders and young people. Nikki has been married to Scotty Corbin for almost 10 yrs. Scotty is the general manager for The Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts and directs and produces live shows at this venue. According to Pulpit Commentary, love that never fails is like love that never “falls away” like the petals on a withered flower. Stop for a moment and just imagine being surrounded by love that never falls away, abandons, disappoints. My daughter, Addi, is learning about this kind of love…it’s hard and sometimes messy, not always easy to show and certainly is not always shown in return. Being a teenager in the midst of a culture that thinks that love is predicated on feelings is sure to feel like petals (and many of them) fall daily from all the flowers in your garden of life. But yet, yes, BUT YET, as believers we have everything we need sown into our souls that can give us this very rich, agape, kind of love both for ourselves and for others through the power of the Holy Spirit.
