Happy Thanksgaming to all who celebrate! It's that time of year where many will be travelling to see family and we will all wish we could sneak away to relax and play games instead of talking to Uncle Chet about whatever the f*&% he's into on Facebook this year. And this year there's a couple cool things that were announced just in time for our thanksgaming episode! Multiversus is a promising WB Smash clone that will be free to play (buy characters and skins and stuff a la KI) and Project L is shaping up to be a crown jewel assist based fighting game.  Happy Holidays doods, we are thankful for you and hope you all have a safe and fun Thanksgaming!

Speaking as someone who is a bit of a butterface (minus my hero's jawline) - I gotta say I am upset by how accurate this title is to the topic of the episode. That's right! This week we are talking games that were a let down at face value but ended up being excellent once you dive deeper. Starting with Marvel's Avenger's follow up - Guardians of the Galaxy!

That's not even some slightly perverted joke. We genuinely talk about both in this episode. This month we are trying to keep it all positive and talk specifically about the stuff we are thankful for. Hop into this first ThanksGaming episode and hear me gush about Back4Blood and Matt feel deep deep feelings for his N64 switch controller. Most importantly, all this month I am just going to remind you that we are thankful for you.  Shine on doods!

Today we talk about the Academy Museum in LA, the Lucas museum and how publishers like to throw devs under the bus for decisions they clearly have no say in. *cough cough* Crystal Dynamics *cough cough* Square Enix. It's a real roller coaster of topics.   Shine on!

Short answer: probably not. But it sure can seem like it. This is mostly a movie talk because I have been on a kick of watching older and lower budget movies - plus saw Dune and just really wanted to talk movies.

Facebook went on a crusade to bring RE4-VR up to modern sensibilities. So... Can't wait for that? And it turns out Mercury Steam (made Metroid Dread) is a crappy place to work as a dev - how do you ask? Well dive on in and we will tell you! Shine on doods!

Sora in smash, sure, we gotta talk about it, but we all know what had to happen now that they released a trailer for Welcome to Raccoon City. We went down and forced Mike to be on the second video episode. So let's talk good things coming to an end, and all the good things we hope for this new movie. Surprisingly - we didn't get a ton of suggestions for our positive only episode. So, we addressed the couple we got and then hit a few big ones. There was a minor amount of taking the piss out of them. Truly, a herculean feat.

Microsoft pissed off fans when it announced, in the name of transparency, that Co-Op and Forge modes wouldn't be available at launch for Halo Infinite. Is the delay a ploy to keep people on game pass? Or is it really the best thing for the game? Let's talk the double edged blade that is transparency.

As block buster games grow ever bigger, the pool of triple A genres seems to shrink. What do I mean? Well, it seems like certain genres of games are becoming relegated entirely to the indie scene and we have some theories as to why.

The last two episodes were a bit too serious. So this episode we took all the questions and topics we were tweeted and had a good time talking about them!
