Instead, he sees his friend's rival, Mister Cisco. He'd hoped to broker a peace between them, but Filippo doesn't want to confront Cisco alone, so he sits in the back of the theater, listening to the scolding voices of his paternal ancestors. Once the show has ended, Filippo's vigilante side take over. He decides to follow the cartel boss, to discover where he's been hiding out while in Entrelugares. We see the rising spirits of deceased little children, greeting their families and following them home. We see a busload of political activists heading for the Theatro Alahambra, where Filippo steps out to receive info from one of his many street informers before heading over to Morgan's Botanica for incense and supplies. We see F13 gangsters distributing drugs provided by a boss in a fancy suit, a man with dark glasses and a limo. We see Javier leaving his house to go to Morgan's Botanica, nearly bumping into a parade of people dressed in colorful garb and partying as they move toward the park. We pass over Morgan's shop to watch Manny as he heads this way, looking to grab some supplies for tonight's devotional rituals. The three of them meet at Morgan's door. Morgan is clearly worried, and acting weird.

Moving up cautiously they see blood in the square and on a few of the cabins so they decide to walk the perimeter to see what they can find. They are able to befriend a dog that was locked in one of the cabins and also find a journal. The journal says that people have been going missing and that two hunters found a “creature” eating one of the missing townsfolk. They move on to another cabin with a barking dog looking for survivors. They dog backs away, growling but they are able to coax it to take some food and back him down. It seems like the dog is protecting the pantry and when Erin opens the door he finds a young girl named Sophia. She wants to know where her mommy and daddy are and says some people went off with Reverend Joaquin into the forest. While Erin makes food Randy heads off to the little church. The chapel itse

Most of these people are from groups Lovecraft himself would have cast as villains or their own horrors in his stories. Randy and Erin take the opportunity to try and rest for a bit and wind up falling asleep. Erin awakens in a dark forest in front of a large fire. Confused he begins looking around and sees a large shadowy figure at the edge of the firelight. When it begins to speak it tells Erin that he (Erin) is one of an ancestry that fights evil and has done so for lifetimes. The figure has sent warnings and Erin and his friends have chosen to ignore those warnings and now evil is aware of them. The figure waves his hand and Randy appears. Randy for his part takes things pretty well. He tells Randy that he has fought with Erin for lifetimes against evil always choosing the heroic path. As the figure continues to tell its tale Erin realizes that they are speaking with Lord Huron. Lord Huron explains that his power is no longer what it used to be a

They tell Red about the creatures they saw and offer to help find Dr. Charybdis. Their overture is ignored but they do wind up engaged with a video journalist by the name of Tanner. Tanner is initially a bit hostile since he thinks X Investments brought Reggie and Nash in to shoot video and bump him out. He explains that he’s been there for a week and has shot a grand total of 10 minutes of film. Tanner is friends with the doctor and says she was excited to learn about the new hybrid creatures beginning to take hold on Caladena. X Investments not so much. As their impromptu meeting with Tanner comes to an end Reggie and Nash see a security team rush by. The team is scrambling to find the doctor whose geo-locator went dark an hour ago. Having been rebuffed by Red Nash and Reggie check in with Bento who tells them not to get involved.

Bento is happy, Scilla is happy and Nash is as happy as he ever gets. She tells Nash one night that she wants him to scout some locations on a planet known as Caladena because she wants to shoot an episode of her show there. Nash acquiesces somewhat reluctantly. At work the following day Bento calls in Nash and Reggie to talk about the mission to Caladena. It’s a decent payday but Red Handfast is there providing security for X Investments who are working on a resort there. They’re told to stay out of the way and stay out of trouble. Venari Hallerman (Rogue Trader) – John Kynnoch (Navigator) – Jesse Jarnan Morgun (Missionary) – Jon Emmaus Kore (Void Master) – Kevin GM – Neil As Kynnoch and Venari are leaving the Adeptus Mechanicus headquarters Kynnoch attempts to sow seeds of doubt in Venari’s mind about how loyal Emmaus may be. While waiting for Emmaus and Jarnan to return Venari checks in with Orros to see what’s been going on in their absence. Zarkov remains in charge of Footfall and is beginning to cause problems with some of the local trade organizations. He was also contacted by the mining concern. It seems the mining colony has been under attack by guerrilla forces. When the command staff reconvenes Jarnan explains that the Ecclesiarchy wants the crew to hunt down the demon and will reward if they are successful. Venari tells them about the attacks on the mining colony and suggests they stop there first before tracking down the demon. With Jarnan’s acquiescence they wait a few days for more information from Orros before

Venari suggests that Jarnan talk with Karnot Stand at the offices of the Eccesiarchy and Emmaus tags along. Venari has plans to talk with Explorator Tallentrax and is surprised when Kynnoch expresses an interest in seeing the tech priest as well. Karnot is pleased with Jarnan and his handling of the situation on Ballentine but when he finds out about the demon he expresses concern. He would like Jarnan and by extension the crew, to seek out the demon and destroy it. In the offices of Explorator Tallentrax, Venari is unaware that Kynnoch knows that he has the warp null goo. As the conversation progresses Kynnoch makes it clear that he knows and asks Tallentrax if it would be possible for the tech priests to synthesize the goo. He further suggests that perhaps if that is indeed possible that the priests could somehow

Madam Blanca (Fortune Teller) – Dani Rock Garrett (PI) – Neil Henry Livingston (Professor) – John Keeper of Arcane Lore – Kevin Rock heads out to do surveillance on the downtown salon. When he arrives he sees a woman leaving and decides not to follow her. Instead he sneaks up to investigate the house, which by some strange twist of fate is left unlocked. The house is sparsely furnished with paintings of woodland scenes covering the walls as well as Venus style statues. Meanwhile Madam Blanca and Henry head over to the library to investigate cults. They make a little bit of headway and Madam Blanca tells Henry to grab today’s paper. As Henry is grabbing the paper Rock comes in. Rock tells them about the house and Madam Blanca explains that she thinks Jennifer is the priestess of an earth goddess cult. She shows them the paper and says there seems to be a confluence tonight between the lunar cycle and the season. With that they head back to Henry’s house to gear up and grab snacks before heading out

He said he and Daniel talked about weird occurrences and esoteric problems together because no one else would believe them. Nick says that Daniel met a woman who ran a salon downtown, by the name of Jennifer Cooksy, who said she could help with their problems. The name of her group is the Survivors of Sacho Helio Blastoma. He said Daniel went to talk with her but Nick refused to go. It seems Daniel has gone missing and Katherine hasn’t seen him in over a week. She explains that Daniel had the feeling that he was being followed or that someone or something was watching him. He was becoming increasingly obsessed with rats and felt that people around town were disappearing. Katherine also explains that Daniel has a tendency to go away for days at a time but always stays in touch with her to let her know that he was ok and to tell her what he was working on. He has never been gone this long without communicating. His usual hangout, according to Katherine is the Sunflower Hotel. He goes there to work and unwind. Rock of course assumes that Daniel is probably cheating but Katherine assures Rock that she has no concerns about Daniel in that regard. Katherine

When the two people on the path in front of them head towards the employee housing Jack sprints like a gazelle after them and sees them enter the code on a keypad to enter the building. He comes back to Randy and Erin and tells them he’s got the code if they need it. While they’re waiting they call the number that Edward made them memorize to see how long it would take them to come in and extract Kenneth and find out that’s not what the number is for. Randy gets mad and as they start arguing Kenneth comes out of the building and starts heading towards the employee quarters. Once he gets closer Jack rushes him, taking Kenneth to the ground. Randy runs over to help while Erin stays back as a lookout. When Kenneth sees Erin he commands Erin to pull Jack off of him. Randy tells Jack the Erin maybe poisoned and Jack shares the fact that Delphinine has horns. They decide to take Erin to Randy’s room to keep an eye on him and try and come up with a plan. The first plan is to send the guy, who Erin met, a text message to try and get him to come up to the room so they can beat the shit out of him. Predictably it doesn’t work. Instead they send a letter to Edward to look up the name Thomas Kine and see if he’s a legitimate guest and to get some lock picks. The package comes along with a note from Edward. Unsurprisingly the there is no one by the name of Thomas Kine registered at the hotel. Strike two for the team. Jack is not real big on continuing with Delphinine but Erin and Randy convince him to go down and talk with her again and tell her about the guy whom Erin talked to.
