Yivvits And Mrbubble!

You've been waiting so patiently and now you shall be rewarded! This week we touch the usual random subjects… Swedish meatballs at IKEA, the Books of Yivviticus and Bubbleations, kitty lawyer, Pledge. Oh, I almost forgot… we also talk about Star Wars and Star Wars Galaxies! We get an update from last week's caller who was wondering if he should try SWG. We also delve into the "in concept" posts Helios made in the official forums. Like the apprehensive deer who has been spooked away many times before, we cautiously approach the new ideas and find ourselves rather excited about them!

This week MrBubble reveals that he savors the sweet and spicy taste of ribs. Yivvits is horrified when he finds out just what kind of ribs MrBubble is talking about. Did we meet our new pledge goals from last week? Well... one of us didn't, but the other more than made up for it. For those of you who didn't like Pledge, you'll be happy to know that she's back again this week! We round things out with voice mails, answering some questions from listeners, and more readings from the books of Yivviticus and Bubbleations. It's a fun one with all of the typical randomness you've come to expect from us!

Let there be a podcast! Week number one of our SWG Pledge Drive has gone by. Did we both meet our SWG playtime goals? You'll have to listen to find out! We set new goals for this week and spoke with "Pledge" herself. Yes, we gave Ms. Pledge a voice (and a gender); that is just how odd we are. We take a peak at the proposed changes for entertainers and learn that MrBubble is considering a career change, discuss the NGE with a listener who works in the marketing industry, and MrBubble reads from one of his favorite books. You smell that? It's the musky odor of a new episode of Star Wars Galaxies with Yivvits and MrBubble! This week we take our randomness to an entirely new level as MrBubble talks about his "inspiration buff." Isn't it funny how even the most common things tie into SW and SWG for us? We both agree it's time for another Star Wars Galaxies Pledge Drive, listen to a few voice mail messages, and give you a very brief update on the latest game updates. On a more serious and somber note, we take a moment to pay respect to a member of the SWG and Valcyn communities we lost this week, Belkin Sprott. This episode is dedicated to him and our thoughts are with his family and friends.

...and in this corner, clocking in at 2 hours and 48 minutes, Episode 58 of Star Wars Galaxies with Yivvits and MrBubble! This week we start out with a typical day for Moff Jerjerrod at Palpatino's Pizza. We talk to a smuggler who's been waiting a very long time to smuggle something, listen to some voicemails, and salute *the* smuggler himself - Han Solo. All of those things take, oh... maybe forty minutes. The rest of the show is a massive no holds barred discussion of the problems WE currently have with Star Wars Galaxies. We explain what's eating at us and why. It's one giant slice of cheesy YaMB goodness!

What could be better than starting out this week's show with a little self-promotion and back-patting? Nothing! That's exactly what we did. We give you a little insight into what our show is really about and what sets it apart from others. After the image management session we talk to a YaMB listener who recently left SWG. Not only do we find out why he left, but also why he'd come back (if he had a PC that is). We briefly go over the current publish notes for Chapter 3 on Test Center which prompts MrBubble to wonder if there'll ever be a change that pleases Yivvits. We finish things up with a quick preview of what we're planning for next week's show. All this and tons of generic Star Wars goofiness; what's not to love!

Well look what we have here! Another episode of Star Wars Galaxies with Yivvits and MrBubble is being served in the cantina! This week we take a quick look at the new original trilogy DVDs which include the unedited theatrical releases of Episodes IV through VI. Also, did MrBubble's brother ever install and start playing SWG? The answer is just a click away! Finally, we round out the show with a "summary rant" from Yivvits on what else, SWG issues and bugs.

Well look at this, another helping of Yivvits and MrBubble! And this one is extra delicious, or dare we say "yummy?"  Episode 55 is indeed a feast, including two live calls, some listener voicemail, an interview with a SOE developer, and a surprise visit from one of the show's dearest friends, who has a few words to say with the developer! Poor MrBubble contracted a case of the carrion spat flu during a recent trip to Doaba Guerfel, Corellia. Thankfully, come Saturday he was feeling better so we whipped up this little gem of an episode for you. This week we rant on the terrible inventory changes in SWG, say "we told you so" about the SWGEMU, and find out that Yoda is something of a dirty little old man.

After months and months and months and months.... and months, the Rebel deep space station, Freedom, can finally be destroyed! MrBubble is happy as a clam about this fix, and why not! This week it is MrBubble's turn to put Yivvits to sleep... err... talk about the piloting side of Star Wars Galaxies. We take a look at the history of the problems with deep space, Kessel, and things not blowing up as they should. The crazy Sullustan is on a role and also offers up some thoughts on crafting. This week we start out the show with a special report by Marles Jacobe from the front lines in Restuss. The battle is fierce; will Marles make it out alive?  After three weeks without an outlet for our Star Wars Galaxies energy (episode 50 and 1/2 doesn't count) we're bursting at the seams! We talk about our new player association, YaMB, discuss what happened at our 2nd meet-up, and generally fill you in on what we've been doing during the past few weeks. We take a look at the surprisingly massive number of bug fixes included with Chapter 2.3, which is now on the SWG Test Center server.  This is the type of update we've been ranting about for the past year and are happy to finally see it happen and hope it becomes a regular practice!

We are back! Well, almost. Building our new recording studio has been a fairly large project which took a little longer than expect. But, we are committed to the show and are eager to get back in the swing of things. Neither wet paint nor paint fumes will stop us! (Albeit, the fumes made us a little loopy) This week's show isn't really a normal episode for us. Hence, we are calling it Episode 50 and 1/2. We cover all sorts of things from truckers to the kitty lawyer to one of our favorite callers from Episode 50. Oh, we talk about Star Wars Galaxies a bit as well. Just over a year ago we started this modest venture known as "Star Wars Galaxies with Yivvits and MrBubble," and what a ride it has been! This week's show is a little different than usual. No news updates, no major rants, no character of the week. We're taking this opportunity to talk about where we've been, where we're going, and celebrate with some yummy cake. Above all else, this episode is where we thank you, our listeners, for making the show a hit with all of your support and kind words. Marvelous surprises await you in Episode 50 of "Star Wars Galaxies with Yivvits and MrBubble!" We are taking a well earned two week vacation from the show, but we'll be back at it before you can say "Bahhh Restuss!"
