The Truth About Tithing: Tips or Tithe
06/04/2025 Duración: 28minTHE TRUTH ABOUT TITHING: TIPS OR TITHE GENESIS 4:1-7 Why did God reject Cain’s offering and accept Abel’s? It was a matter of the heart! Cain tipped God; Abel obeyed God. Do we have the heart of Cain or Abel? When it comes to our finances, who are we going to thank and who are we going to trust? What we do with our finances reveals the condition of our heart. Truth: God doesn’t need our money; He wants our heart! Tithing is not about getting something out of us, it is about doing something for us! The account of Cain and Abel teaches us: 1. Tithing reveals the condition of the heart. An unholy hold on money divides every aspect of our lives. Blessed money unifies. 2. Tithing determines how much God can trust me. 3. Tithing determines how long my giving lives. Hebrews 11:4 My faith in God speaks longer than I live on earth. Everything we work to accumulate (possessions) dies with us. Ask yourself: Who is going to be standing before God’s throne because of me? +++++++ You can find our service times on our web

The Truth About Tithing
30/03/2025 Duración: 30minTHE TRUTH ABOUT TITHING I KINGS 17:10-22 She Was Afraid! 1 Kings 17:13-16 When we obey God, there is ALWAYS enough! She Was Tested! 1 Kings 17:15-16 Who are we going to thank and who are we going to trust? More money is not the answer-More faith in God is! Faith activates God and moves His hand in our behalf. Tithing is NOT giving; Tithing is RETURNING! Truth: Generosity begins at 11%! Some argue that tithing is an Old Testament law, remember this: Jesus NEVER lowered the bar; He raised the bar. Matthew 5:17-30 Jesus taught tithing. Luke 11:42 She Received The Supply! 1 Kings 17:15-16 There was no natural solution to this problem. Truth: God doesn’t need the natural to do the supernatural! If He can get it thru you, He will get it to you! She Experienced The Promise! 1 Kings 17:21-22 Her son dies-obeying God doesn’t mean your business will never go under, you will never get cancer, you will never lose a child, you will never go through a divorce. The promise means when the ‘son’ dies, Jesus is right there wit

Breakthrough and Overcoming Obstacles by Pastor Leo Bray
23/02/2025 Duración: 30minMark 2:1-12 The text is a story of four friends who went the extra mile to get their friend to Jesus. His situation was hopeless. There was no medicine, treatment, or cure. He needed something supernatural. Note: The four didn’t try to ‘fix’ their friend but took him to Jesus, someone who could ‘fix’ him. The Bible doesn’t name these four, but they loved their friend enough to get him to Jesus. It is amazing what can happen when we don’t care who gets the credit! How long has it been since you have done something radical to reveal Jesus? What ‘roof’ needs to be torn off your life so someone can see Jesus? Mark 2:5 ‘Jesus saw their faith’-faith that made them do something radical. The paralyzed man was brought for forgiveness but for healing. Jesus wants to address the sins of our lives before the needs of our physical life. When we do radical things to get our friends to Jesus, things can get messy! Why Does God Give Breakthroughs? For His glory (Revelation 4:11, Isaiah 43:7). To manifest His works (John 9

Strength - Part 5 Gifts of Healings
09/02/2025 Duración: 20minStrength through Power-Gifts of Healings Acts 1:8 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 Our path to strength is the dynamic of the Spirit of God. It is not the power of human personality, organization or eloquence. Strength through power is displayed through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Gifts of Healings defined: the ability to be used as an instrument of God in a supernatural way to restore health. Why is this gift plural? Three levels of healing: physical, emotional/psychological, spiritual. Example of Jesus: Luke 5-paralyzed man with four friends John 5-Lame man at pool of Bethesda Luke 17-Ten lepers Why are the Gifts of Healings needed? Our bodies are important to our ministry. 1 Corinthians 6:15 and 19 Romans 12:1 The Bible gives us instructions for the operation of Gifts of Healings-James 5:14-16 Examples of Gifts of Healings in Acts: Acts 3:1-10 Lame man at the Gate Beautiful Acts 5:12-16 Peter’s shadow Acts 9:36-43 Tabitha raised to life Acts 19:11-12 Unusual miracles and Paul’s sweat rags Acts 28:1-10 Poisonous sna

Strength - Part 4
02/02/2025 Duración: 39minStrength through Power Acts 1:8 Matthew 28:18-19 It is an amazing thing that God would choose to trust a group of quitters to take the message of salvation to the world. The disciples had all quit. They were discouraged, depressed, and defeated. Yet 40 days with Jesus and they had a change of attitude and perspective. That is what we all need, dose of Jesus. Our Mission is not to be man pleasing but Spirit lead. This requires us to: 1. Live by His Power! Colossians 1:19-20 MSG Requires the power of God to overcome our biases and prejudices. 2. Pray big prayers. Acts 4:29-31(NKJV) We risk missing the amazing things God has for us because we do not ask for them. Pray and praise, in the dark so that what God is preparing will be revealed to us in the light. Isaiah 54:1-3 How we pray and praise says a lot about what you think about God. 3. Exchange fear and self-doubt for strength and courage. Acts 5:29-32(NKJV) Fear isn’t simply an emotion. The Bible tells us it’s a spirit from the enemy (2 Timothy 1:7). God ha

Strength - Part 3
26/01/2025 Duración: 26minJesus told the disciples to stay in Jerusalem until the promise of the Father was fulfilled. That promise was “power from on high.” Luke 24:49 Jesus reiterated this command and promise in Acts 1:8. Holy Spirit gives us power to bring the strength to accomplish His plans. Three significant truths about His coming: 1. Holy Spirit has been poured out and promised to all believers. Holy Spirit wasn’t just with believers, He took up residence in them. Acts 2:38 makes the promise of His power available to all who believe. The outpouring of Holy Spirit on Pentecost was the fulfillment of Jesus promise in John 14:16-17. Today, too many are involved with Christianity, but few are committed to the cause of Christ which is reaching the world with the Gospel. 2. God’s plan is to spread the Gospel to all nations through the church. Matthew 16:18 Ephesians 3:10 Matthew 24:14 Acts 1:8 Ever since the birth of the church in Acts 2, the church’s mandate is to gather, grow, give and go with the Gospel! 3. All believers should b

Strength - Part 2
19/01/2025 Duración: 18minHoly Spirit gives us power to give us strength to accomplish the plans of God. This strength is revealed through three miraculous signs. These signs are audible, visual and verbal. 1. Power Acts 2:2 2. Presence Acts 2:3 3. Proclamation Acts 2:4 ESV And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. The word for “tongues” gloce'-sah – language-specifically one naturally unacquired. Acts 2:5-7 “bewildered” means they were confounded and confused because they were hearing the praises of God in their own native languages. Acts 2:7 “And they were amazed and astonished, saying, ‘Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?’ The reaction of the Jews to these three signs makes me wonder why we aren’t more filled with awe, wonder, amazement and astonishment when we consider the mighty works of God. Acts 2:9-11 tells us Christianity is NOT a western white people religion. To evangelize effectively today, we must bridge cultural barriers and preach the g

Strength
12/01/2025 Duración: 28minActs 2:1-13 Holy Spirit’s power to give us the strength to accomplish His plans! Acts 2:1 “When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place.” We are Better Together! Pentecost means ‘fifteth’. Refers to the Jewish feast of Shavuot- 50 days after Passover. Pentecost is a harvest festival! Acts 2:41 ‘So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.’ When the law was given-3,000 died. When Holy Spirit was given-3,000 were saved! This Pentecost fulfilled its eternally determined destiny. To provide power to give strength to believers. This power was introduced with spectacular signs: 1. Power Acts 2:2 ‘And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.’ Suddenly-abruptly, unexpectedly and immediately. Not an actual wind but the sound of a mighty rushing wind. Violent blasting roar. 2. Presence Acts 2:3 ‘and divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rest

The Name Above All Names
08/12/2024 Duración: 26minThe Name above all Names Matthew 1:21-25 December 8, 2024 In Biblical times, names had meaning. People often lived up to their name. Jacob-trickster David-beloved Abraham-father of a multitude Moses-drawn out Joseph-he will add Daniel-to judge The Name of Jesus describes: 1. His Identity-Matthew 1:21 Jesus means Jehovah is salvation. Hebrews 2:10 He is the Captain of our salvation Hebrew Yeshua-The Lord is salvation Acts 4:12 No other name given under among men by which we must be saved. Jesus was a real human baby and God in the flesh. His cry broke 400 years of silence from Heaven and brought Good News to all mankind! 2. His intentions-Matthew 1:21 He came to save His people from their sins. ‘save’ means to keep safe, to rescue from danger or destruction. Philippians 2:7-11 Jesus primary purpose in coming to this sin sick world was to die for His people. 3. His impoverishment-Luke 4:18-19 He came to “proclaim good news to the poor” Jesus understands poverty, weariness, hunger, rejection and loneliness-Hebre

Guest Speaker David Hodges
01/12/2024 Duración: 48minDavid Hodges takes a deep dive into the story of Abraham sending his servant Eliezer to find a wife for Abraham's son Isaac. David and Cecilia Hodges have served as full-time missionaries to Peru for many years. In 2007, they planted a flourishing church and a missions compound in Jicamarca, a mountainous desert region on the outskirts of Lima, Peru. They are reaching Peru through the teaching of the kingdom, challenging believers to leave their cultural box and empowering them to be ambassadors in the marketplace. They are also working to establish leadership training in local churches through the Andes Mountains and the Amazon. Their mission is to train every generation to represent the kingdom in the real and whole way, being a relevant influence within the culture and society they live. Their vision raises up men and women who dynamically, creatively, properly, and powerfully live-out and represent the kingdom of God. Gratitude
24/11/2024 Duración: 25min1 THESSALONIANS 5:16 PSALM 48:12 PSALM 22:3 What is the difference between thankfulness and gratitude? Thankfulness is a response to a ________________________________. Gratitude is a _________________________, a state of grace. Most of us have a story or stories of God’s faithfulness that brought gratitude. Truth: God is attracted to grateful people. What do we know about gratitude? 1. Gratitude is never invisible or silent. Luke 6:45 When we are grateful, we will say it and show it. 2. Gratitude sustains joy and blessing. Psalm 9:1 The secret to joy is learning to remember all that God has done for you, especially in the bad times. 3. Gratitude begins when entitlement ends. 1 Corinthians 15:5 It is impossible to be grateful for something we think we are entitled to. Without God, what are we entitled to? God’s mercy keeps us until God’s grace finds us! 4. Grateful people can find a blessing or enlarge a blessing. Psalm 126:5-6 You have everything you need to do everything God has asked you to do.
