  • Packers Therapy #453: Super Season Wrap Up Extravaganza!!!

    17/02/2024 Duración: 01h35min

Chris and Dave put a (poorly tied) bow on the 2023 season. Besides looking back and looking ahead, the fellas talk about the Super Bowl, the hiring of Jeff Hafley, the Packers needs in the draft, play a little "Keep or Dump," and do a recap of the betting lines for the past season. A jolly time was had by all!Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/packerstherapyPayPal: Packerstherapy@yahoo.comPosting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to packerstherapy@yahoo.com and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.Packers Therapy is a part of the Pack

  • Packers Weekly #28: Building the 2024 Green Bay Packers: Offseason Priorities

    13/02/2024 Duración: 01h15min

Shanahan comes up short again, and just like that we're in the offseason. No real football until September. Tis the season of too many mock drafts, and overhyped offseason workout videos. We're here with you through it all. We're breaking down the draft prospects position-by-position leading up to the draft. Starting with Edge Rushers / OLB and OT day-1 potential fits at 25. We are going to give you a few guys at each position that we think are the most likely to be available and a fit for the Packers. There are certain things the Packers historically just won't do. There are also certain things the Packers historically have done consistently. All of these things considered can help us narrow down to what we think the Packers will do with their draft picks, and how they will build the 2024 roster. Go Pack Go!Be sure to join Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton every week as they breakdown what’s going on in the world of the Green Bay Packers. • Packers Weekly #27: Super Bowl or Bust with a New Defense?

    08/02/2024 Duración: 01h28min

Jeff Hafley appears to have a very different philosophy than Joe Barry in almost every way he can. This new defensive staff appears to be a press man CB's dream. One thing seems certain, the aggression level is going up. With the offense looking primed to continue the success they found in the second half of 2023, if the defense can improve, even in the slightest, this team may be headed for a Super Bowl next season. If that sounds crazy to you, then consider us the leaders of the nut house. One thing we can all agree on right now, it's nice to have an offseason without major drama brewing in Green Bay. Go Pack Go!Be sure to join Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton every week as they breakdown what’s going on in the world of the Green Bay Packers. Formerly the head coach at Boston College, his hire might have raised a few eyebrows from the Twitterati who were hoping for an established name in the NFL, but Hafley will be bringing his version of an aggressive, press coverage 4-3 defense which will definitely look different next season. • Packers Weekly #26: How Will You Remember the 2023 Packers Season?

    01/02/2024 Duración: 01h09min

All the boxes that needed to get checked, have been checked. Hiring a new DC doesn't count, because that's the first item on 2024's list. You have a franchise QB, a future LT and RT, playmakers on both sides of the ball, and as a bonus they all have playoff experience now. It may have been a disappointing end, but don't let that make you forget the overall success the season was. If that isn't enough, the GM might be the best in the league right now. The way he's drafted the past two years should make everyone very excited about the talent that will be added to this group that was only a few plays aways from playing for another Lombardi. We begin our draft coverage next week, as we go position by position to highlight who we think has the best chance to be drafted by the Packers. We will be analyzing a different position group each week leading up to the draft. Go Pack Go!Be sure to join Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton every week as they breakdown what’s going on in the world of the Green Bay Packers. • Cheesehead Radio #338: #FiredJoeBarry

    25/01/2024 Duración: 01h05min

It was a death of a thousand self-inflicted paper cuts, with no real egregious errors, just too many little mistakes that prevents a young team like the Green Bay Packers from pulling off the upset against the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers. But as the Packers lick their wounds, there's a bright future ahead for them.  The future isn't so bright for defensive coordinator Joe Barry, who was released from his coaching responsibilities on Wednesday, leading the Packers to do another search for the answer for the talent-laden but ever-underachieving defense. Join CD, Al, and Kelly as they take you through another offseason post-mortem and get you ready for 2024.Be sure to join C.D., Al and Kelly on their regular jaunts through the Packers Universe. • Packers Therapy #452: Packers Dead and Barry-ed in San Francisco

    24/01/2024 Duración: 01h19min

"When all the laughter dies in sorrow…” While the end of the Packers season is not as fraught as the Lance Rentzel memoir, it certainly stung. But why? Green Bay was playing with the proverbial “house money,” was it not? The post-season was a surprise gift, right? So, shouldn't this one be easily set aside as just a learning experience on the way to certain improvement next season and a string of playoff appearances thereafter? Like many Packers fans, Chris and Dave struggle with accepting the loss in that manner, knowing that the Niners game — and another appearance in the NFC Championship Game — was there for the taking…and that the future is far from certain.PROGRAMMING NOTE: Chris and Dave plan to do a “Season Wrap” pod in a few weeks. The boys are tentatively scheduled to record that one the week after the Super Bowl, so look for it sometime after February 15.Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/packerstherapyPayPal: Packerstherapy@yahoo.comPosting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-runni

  • Packers Weekly #25: Ugly End to a Beautiful Beginning

    23/01/2024 Duración: 01h15min

Playing with house money. There's no pressure. We're not even supposed to be here. Right? That sentiment was valid going into the 49ers game. As soon as we saw that the Packers could actually win the game, all of that went out the window. If you're eager to compare this playoff loss to a previous playoff loss, look no further than the 2009 loss to the Cardinals. The window is opening, not closing. The Packers just went toe-to-toe with the bully of the NFC and will bring virtually the entire team back. One of the best GMs in the league has more draft capital than he needs. Nothing is guaranteed, but the future for this Packers team is as bright as any team in the league. Let's have some fun this offseason, Packers fans! Go Pack Go!Be sure to join Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton every week as they breakdown what’s going on in the world of the Green Bay Packers. • LempsTalkinPack #159: Failure to Finish

    22/01/2024 Duración: 01h58min

Chris Lempesis is back to break down Green Bay's heartbreaking 24-21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night in the Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. He tells you the main reason Green Bay saw its season come to an end in this one, namely, a failure to capitalize on multiple opportunities throughout the game. Failures that came in all three phases and he breaks down the struggles of each unit. He then takes questions and comments from listeners received via social media and email. You can follow Chris on twitter at LempsMKE (@ItsJustChrisNow)LempsTalkingPack is a part of the Packers Talk family of podcasts, serving up enough weekly podcasts to satisfy the most fervent of Packer fans. • Cheesehead Radio #337: The Thin Line Between Love and Great

    18/01/2024 Duración: 43min

Jordan Love wasn't just good on Sunday as the Packers upset the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the playoffs...he ended up with a perfect passer rating, as Aaron Jones ran for another 100+ yards and Joe Barry again salvaged his job for another season. No one expected this, but we all hoped and prayed for it. Now, the Cinderella Packers head to the next dance, this time to our playoff nemesis, the San Francisco 49ers. Will the carriage turn into a pumpkin this Saturday night? • Packers Weekly #24: Could Jordan Love Be BETTER Than The Last Guy???

    17/01/2024 Duración: 01h18min

A dominant playoff win over the Cowboys probably has you asking yourself, "what is this Packers team actually capable of?".  It appears they are capable of scoring on anyone, and Joe Barry is motivated to save his job. Jordan Love posted the best QB rating in playoff history and is starting to make plays that have him looking like a top 5 QB already.  Is it really possible that Jordan Love could turn out to be BETTER than Rodgers? There's a LONG way to go before we can answer that question for sure, but if they win against the 49ers this weekend in San Francisco the question will get louder. Go Pack Go!Be sure to join Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton every week as they breakdown what’s going on in the world of the Green Bay Packers. Packers fans unwrapped a late Christmas gift in the form of an overwhelming Green Bay victory over what appeared to be a stunned and stumbling Dallas team. Chris and Dave are beyond surprised, preferring instead to just lay back and enjoy it, particularly as a date with San Francisco is looming on Saturday night. While the ride may well be coming to a sobering impact with the wall of reality this weekend, the fellas are delighted with the way the Packers' season has rebounded after a 2-5 start and excited about what the future might hold in an increasingly competitive NFC North.Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/packerstherapyPayPal: Packerstherapy@yahoo.comPosting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet.
