Lamentations 3:22 It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 25The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. Have you ever thought about how good God has been to you and to me? We should think about it. We should be thankful about God’s goodness to us. If God were not a good God. We would all be dead! If God were not a good God we all would have a miserable existence.

Acts 1:9And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. In order for Jesus to be resurrected He had to die. In order to die He had to become a man and in order to become a man He had to be born, a miraculous birth or a supernatural birth as all babies are miracles actually. The resurrection has three parts to it. I bet you didn’t know that did you…. well let’s look at it.

Luke 7:44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 45Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 46My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 47Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. 48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. 49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? 50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. How are we saved? Is it by being good? Good deeds out weigh your bad. On this palm Sunday, the day that Jesus entered into the city of Jerusalem proclaimed a king and by the end of the week crucified as a criminal. Jesus

Everyone is under stress today. The things that were supposed to make our lives less complicated have instead made them more complicated and difficult. But while you cannot escape stress you don't have to have anxiety about it. God has a cure.

Revelation 12:11-12 The wrath of God is coming upon this world but it seems people fear the wrath of Satan more than the wrath of God. Satan is only mad at the Jews and seeks to destroy them. Why?

Most people in this world have decisions to make everyday. What clothes to wear, what shoes to put on, what time to leave for work, ect, ect. But did you know that many, many thousands of people everyday will make life altering decisions such as career paths, marriage partners, buying a house, making a move, attending college. Many thousands will make decisions today regarding drugs and alcohol and sex. Many thousands will make the decision today to open the door of sin and walk through it to a life of ruin. What to do? How do we make good decisions?

No one is perfect. No one does everything right. But it is amazing that Jesus did ALL Things well. He did everything right. Wrap your mind around that for a minute. Jesus never did anything wrong, He was incapable of sin. He hath done all things well.

Joy…. a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. Jubilation, exultation, rejoicing, happiness, gladness, exhilaration, exuberance, elation, euphoria, bliss, ecstasy. Words cannot adequately describe heaven and being in the presence of our Savior. We can only experience it to know what It’s like. Having a child is something that you have to experience to know what it’s like. Winning a state, or national basketball championship is something you have to experience to know what it’s like. Trusting Christ as your Savior is something that you have to…… and you must experience to know what it’s like. to have this joy and peace it’s so sad that many will never experience having a child, winning a championship and the greater tragedy is that most will not experience the joy of knowing Christ. But we have this joy……

What is a pagan? Paganism is a term first used in the fourth century by early Christians for people in the Roman Empire who practiced polytheism. Paganism has been broadly defined as anyone involved in any religious act, practice, or ceremony which is not Christian. Judah had been conquered by the Babylonians and were going to be marched from the homeland into Babylon and live with them. They were going to endure 70 years of captivity. Daniel lived among the Babylonians all his adult life. They were a pagan people. Remember Shadrach, Meshack and Abendao? They were thrown into the firey furnace for not worshipping a pagan idol. Judah was under the judgment of God. And God gave them instructions on how to live in this pagan world and be successful, be blessed and keep your identity and ideolgy. I know today we wonder how can we survive in this world. Remember the Hebrew people survived and even thrived under Egyptian slavery for over 400 years and kept their faith and their ideology. Psalm 53 is almost a repeat of Psalm 14. Predicament: An unpleasant situation that is difficult to get out of: If you're engaged to get married but suddenly fall in love with someone else, you have gotten yourself into quite a predicament. Help us Lord to fully understand the seriousness of the hour and the shortness of time and the predicament that people are in. People are in a situation that they cannot get out of by themselves. There is no hope of them getting out of it. (1:00) Psalm 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, “There is no God.”

One of God’s complaints and major complaint about His people was the leadership was corrupt, wicked, told lies to the people and led them into sin. I wonder what He would say about the Christian leadership in the world today? How many of our congressmen and governmental leaders would God pronounce woe upon? How many Pastors and teachers would God pronounce “woe” upon today?

Last week the Cross Talk radio had a program about what happened on Monday, February 4th. On that day Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, met together and signed ‘A Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together’, a declaration calling for tolerance and peace among the nations of the world. There are over one billion Muslims and 1.3 billion baptized Catholics in the world. That means that one third of all the people on the earth are either Catholic or Muslim. That does not include their influence on the rest of the world who are not adherents. The signing represents the first time there’s ever been a papal visit to the Arab-Gulf states, while marking a historical breakthrough in Roman Catholic/Muslim dialogue. It’s prophetic because of Revelation 17.

The Bible has a phrase that John used. “little Children this is the last time.” The time of the church is God’s last dispensation or work that He will do on this earth. This is God’s work in the world. Creation, the flood, disbursing at Babel, Abrahamic covenant, the law, the land, the prophets and kings, then the new covenant with the church. After the church was established, Israel was scattered from the land. The last days, is the church age and it also includes the number one sign that the church age is almost over..…..the return of Israel to their land. Next up is the last of the last days…….the day of the Lord…..beginning with the rapture, then the tribulation and then the millennium and judgment. The Day of the Lord is His time. That’s why it’s called the day of the Lord. It is the consummation of the ages. God is wrapping everything up and putting an end to sin and the rebellion of man. We are an impatient society. We want what we want and we want it now! Lord help me to more patient….now!! People today wait a lot. In doctors offices. Waiting for the service to begin. Waiting in line to check out of Walmart. Waiting in line to get into a concert. A lot of waiting. Human beings spend approximately 6 months of their lives waiting in line for things, it means like 3 days a year of lining up. The average person spends about 43 days on hold with automated customer service in one lifetime. That is just life. Waiting is hard but it can be good. We can talk to others in line. Waiting gives us time to think to plan, to pray, to look at your phone??? God wants us to wait on Him. Waiting on God is always difficult for us but the results are always good in the end.

Many events have turned people away because venues are packed due to so much demand. Yogi Berra said about a restaurant in New York that was packed every night“ no one goes there anymore because it’s so crowded.” Have you ever been locked out of an event or got to a store and found the door locked because you got there too late? I imagine that when God closed the door of Noah’s ark there were many who knocked but could not get in when the water began to rise. Not because it was so crowded but because people waited too late. Most people are in hell today not because there is a size limit but a time limit. You have to get in before you die.

Pilate looked into the face of Jesus Christ and asked Him this question. John 18:38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. Jesus had just said to Pilate in verse 37….....for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate asked the wrong question….the question is not WHAT is truth? The question is WHO is truth. Truth is embodied in a person. Therefore if you do not follow Jesus Christ you have automatically been deceived and tricked. You are living a life of rebellion against God and following the lies of the enemies of God.

Lots of things offer salvation. Governments offer salvation from oppression. Products offer salvation from unsightly stains. We can be saved from debt, saved from pain by doctors, saved from stress by vacations, saved from losing by picking a better team, saved from bad decisions when someone bails us out, saved from death by a miracle drug or skilled surgeon or a safe car. But what is the salvation of God?
