So, you think that because you live in a city, you don’t have to worry about having a Dogman encounter? Well, I hate to break it to you, but there have been numerous encounters that credible eyewitnesses have had in major metropolitan areas. For example, Oak Park, Michigan is a city that shares its southern border with the City of Detroit. Due to it being a suburb of a major city, like Detroit, there are a lot of things you’d expect to find there. 1 thing most people wouldn’t expect to find there, though, is a Dogman. Tonight’s guest, John, lives on a farm, in North Texas, that his family has owned for over 150 years. Recently, John saw a creature on his property that, at 1st glance, he thought was a jet-black, oversized coyote. After sizing it up, though, he could tell that it was way too big to be a coyote. It was too big to even be a wolf. Not only was it too big to be a wolf, wolves don’t stand up erect, on their back legs. What he was looking at did that. John has a lot of animals on his farm. Some he considers to just be livestock. Others, he considers to be pets. With that in mind, he didn’t want to risk having this strange, large predator kill any of his animals, so he shot it. That might have been a mistake because Dogmen do have a strong sense of revenge. They’re also smart enough to know how to set a trap. Tonight’s guest, Joe Kendle, was born and raised in Colorado, but moved to South Carolina, a few years ago and that’s where he married his wife. The two of them live on a 10-acre lot that Joe says is his dream property. You see, Joe has always loved the outdoors and now that he can walk out his back door and spend the day roaming the 1,000’s of acres of woods around him, it’s almost like paradise to him. There are drawbacks to living where he does, though. In March, of last year, Joe was on the phone with his youngest son when, all of a sudden, he saw a Dogman walking across his property. Not knowing what Dogmen were, he rushed inside and told his wife what he had seen. She told him it was a Dogman and that there were stories of Dogmen being in that area. That encounter was pretty tame, as far as Dogman encounters go, his 1st encounter was pretty tame. The same can’t be said about his 2nd encounter, however. That encounter scared him so bad, he raced home, in his car, and had to lock up his brakes to avoid hi

Ghost in the graveyard is a game kids play in the woods, at night, that’s very similar to hide and seek. The person who is it (a.k.a. the seeker) has a flashlight and has to count to 100. Then, they try to find the other kids who are hiding from them, in the woods. When the seeker finds any of the kids who are hiding, the kids who were found have to help the seeker find any of the kids who are still hiding. Tonight’s guest, Nancy, used to love playing the game, when she was a kid, growing up in rural Illinois. Normally, she had a great time playing it with her friends but one evening, right before dark, when she and her friends were introducing a new friend to the game, things got serious and they got serious really quick. That’s because, while it’s fun to play the game with your friends, it’s not fun, at all, when a huge Dogman decides he wants to play too. Tonight’s guest, Alex, grew up in an extremely remote part of Tennessee. As a kid, she loved nothing more than running around, deep into the woods, with her dog, Bandit, so she could explore and enjoy nature. One day, though, while she was outside, for recess, at school, in the 2nd grade, Alex saw something that changed her view on the woods and how safe it was to be in them. Not knowing what a Dogman was or that they even existed, it comes as no surprise that she was extremely traumatized by the experience. What kid wouldn’t be? After seeing it, she had problems with very intense nightmares, for years. Thankfully, in time, things got better for her and she started to bounce back from the experience. Fast forward several years. There was a huge, abandoned, house that was deep in the woods, about 3 miles from Alex’s home. That house had been abandoned, years prior, by a wealthy couple who left almost all of their belongings behind and just seemed to leave in a hurry, without telling anyone why they were leavin

One night, when she was 7 or 8 years old, tonight’s guest, Amanda, was inside a doghouse, in her family’s garden, with all but 1 of her brothers and sisters. It was fairly late at night and they were telling ghost stories, trying to scare one another. Listening to the ghost stories was scary, but not as scary as what happened when they decided to come out of the doghouse. You see, when they came out, to their horror, an 8-foot tall Dogman was waiting for them! They were 100 yards from the house, so they thought their chances of making it inside were slim to none. After standing there, staring at them, quietly, for a few moments, the Dogman dropped to all 4’s and started running after them. When it did that, they all took off, running, for the house. Instead of waiting until tomorrow night to air this week's episode of DER, I decided to air it today. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!Tonight’s guest, Jay, is very serious about fishing. He likes to fish more than he likes to do almost anything. That’s why it’s such a shame he had his Dogman encounters. Now that he’s had them, fishing in remote locations will never be the same for him. That’s because, when he had his 1st encounter, he was fishing, at a remote dock, in the middle of nowhere, when 3 Dogmen made their presence known. The 1st Dogman he saw looked bear-like and was about 80 feet in front of him, when he noticed it. Not long after that, he realized it 2 more were behind him. Those 2 looked like hyenas, though. A lot of the people who listen to Dogman Encounters don't know that I host a Sasquatch-specific show called Bigfoot Eyewitness Radio. When tonight’s guest, Jack McClellan, was driving home, late one night, from visiting his girlfriend, he saw a Dogman that was different from any Dogman that’s been talked about on the show. You see, Jack was driving down a country road, past a cemetery, when suddenly, he saw what looked like a huge dog in his headlights, so he started to slow down. When he did, this “dog” crossed the road in front of him. When it had gotten part of the way across the road, it stopped about 50 feet ahead of him, giving Jack a great chance to regard it. Not long after that, the “dog” stood up onto its hind legs. That was when it was perfectly clear to Jack that he wasn’t looking at a huge dog. It had to be something else. As Jack was sitting there, studying it, he was blown away by how muscular it was. Even though he had spent most of his life living in the woods, he had never seen anything like this. Across the country, locals have come up with varying appellations for the Dogmen that are seen in their areas. Of course, there’s the Beast of Bray Rd., near Elkhorn, Wisconsin. You’ve got the Michigan Dogman too. Well, Germantown, Ohio has become fairly well known, in the cryptid community, for Dogman sightings. Although, a lot of locals there don’t describe them as being Dogmen. If they see one, they call it the Butter Street monster, due to a well-known sighting that took place in Germantown, on Butter Street. Tonight’s guest, Caleb, was scouting deer, last August, on his step-grandfather’s farm, early one morning, when he got the surprise of his life. He was expecting to see deer grazing on the soybean leaves that were in his step-grandfather’s field, but what he saw was no deer. At first, he thought it was a coyote, but it was too big. His family moved around a lot, due to his father being an engineer for General Motors, but due to both of his parents having such high-earning jobs, Robert’s family was very comfortable. When Robert was 10, he and his family were living in a new housing development, in New York State that was almost perfect for a kid like him. He had good friends who lived just a few houses up the street from him. Right behind his house, there was a big woods that he and his friends used to play in and explore. Because of her encounters, she's been featured on The Travel Channel's Dogman/Werewolf documentary, an episode of Expedition X, with Josh Gates, IMDB TV, and recently was a guest speaker at the Elkhorn Dogman/Beast of Bray Rd. Conference.Sophia is a psychic medium who says she has a propensity for seeing things most people don't. In some ways, that can be a good thing. In other ways, it can be a hindrance. Tonight’s guest, Kai, used to be an avid coon hunter, but a Dogman encounter she had while coon hunting when she was 12, changed all of that. Back when she was 12, she snuck out of her house one night, to go coon hunting with her 3 best friends. Not long after midnight, after hunting at a location called Tall Pines that they had been to many times before, they decided to go hunting deeper into that woods than they had ever been before. Unfortunately, that was a decision they’d soon come to regret. After working their way about 4 miles into that woods, they came to a draw. Right before Kai and her friends got to the edge of the draw, the 2, big, walker hounds they were hunting with, Amos and Russ, ran excitedly down into the draw. Kai and her friends thought they were hot on the trail of a coon. After the dogs disappeared over the edge of the draw, everything went dead silent. About 20 seconds after that, the dogs tore out of the draw, screaming and crying, and blew past Kai, like their tails were on fire! The

Tonight’s guest, “Brad,” was featured on Episodes 268 and 334. On Episode 268, he shared the details of his 1st Dogman encounter with us. In Episode 334, he told us about a Dogman hunt he and his friends went on. Well, recently, he had another Dogman-related experience in the same location where he and his friends went on that Dogman hunt. This most recent experience was even more intense than the one he shared the last time he was on. After having this most recent experience, Brad says that he’s sworn off ever going into an area where he knows Dogmen are.
