Dogman Encounters Radio

Just off the coast of Long Island, New York is a pristine place called Shelter Island. Shelter Island is a quiet place, with lush, green forests, friendly residents, and as tonight’s guest, R.K. found out Dogmen. When R.K. would stay on the island, during the summer, in her childhood, she thought the island was beautiful during the day, but creepy at night, because Shelter Island didn’t have any streetlights. When you’re an 11-year-old girl, it’s easy to let your imagination run wild, if it’s almost pitch black outside, at night. As R.K. found out the hard way one night, sometimes your fear of the dark is justified. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to R.K. talk about what happened when she and her friend came face with a Dogman there, late one night.

If your mom came home from work one evening and told you not to go into the woods behind your house because she had just seen a massive creature, that had a head like a Werewolf, would you listen to her and stay out of those woods? Well, tonight’s guest, Kelly Vaughn, didn’t listen to her mother’s warning. She did go back into the woods behind her home the next day, to look for evidence. Unfortunately, she wasn’t alone.

If you listened to Episode 193, you’ll remember tonight’s guest, Marvin Allen. Marvin collects Dogman stories from eyewitnesses who have had encounters in the Carolinas, as well as in Virginia. Marvin’s coming back on tonight’s show to share more encounters with you. We hope you’ll tune in!

Tonight's guest, Art, was featured in Episode 166. In Episode 166, he talked about run-ins he's had with Dogmen while working as an over the road truck driver. On tonight's show, he's going to talk about another encounter he had after Episode 166 aired, as well as encounters other eyewitnesses have shared with him.

Tonight’s guest, Marvin Allen, collects Dogman encounters from the area of the Carolinas. One of her friends, who knows quite a few eyewitnesses, has put Marvin into contact with quite a few of those eyewitnesses. On tonight’s show, Marvin’s not only going to share the details of her encounter, she’s going to share the details of encounters several other eyewitnesses have had as well. If you didn’t think Dogmen were in the Carolinas, tonight’s show will have you rethinking that!

Tonight’s guest, Rob Gibson, was riding around, out in the country, with his cousin, late one night. The two of them were killing time, the way they had done so several times before. What neither of them knew was that this night was going to be quite a bit different than any of their previous rides in the country. Unfortunately, this wasn’t to be Rob’s last experience of like this. We hope you tune in and listen to Rob talk about his two Dogman encounters. You never know. You just might be treated to some narrations if you do!

If you listened to last week’s show, you heard Brandon Close meticulously describe a terrifying encounter he had with a Dogman, in the woods, behind his home, in Cato, NY. We didn’t have enough time last week for Brandon to answer all of the questions I had for him, about his experience, so he’s come back to answer those questions on tonight’s show. Tonight’s guest, Brandon Close, lives on a 192-acre farm in Upstate New York. Brandon’s spent his whole life enjoying the outdoors. He’s spent untold hours deep in the woods. Because of how much time he had spent in the woods, he thought he knew everything about them. Unfortunately, he found out, 4 weeks before this show aired that the woods held a secret he was yet to find out about. One night, while investigating strange howls, Brandon came face to face with a creature he describes as being in the 8 to 9-foot range, that looked like a Werewolf! He and a neighbor of his were in his side by side when they first saw it, so they sped away. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of the terror the two men were going to experience that night. We hope you tune in and listen to Brandon explain the details of the encounter he and his neighbor had that night. It’s an experience neither of them will ever forget.

Tonight's guest, John Yazzie was working for Natural Resources organization, north of Flagstaff, AZ, in 1997, when he encountered what he describes as looking like a bearwolf. When he first saw it, at a considerable distance, he thought it was a cow, because of how large it was. As it got closer, though, he could see that it was no cow. We hope you tune in and listen to John talk about his encounter and other encounters his family members have had.

This bonus, Valentines Day episode of Dogman Encounters features Josh Turner. On tonight’s show, Josh is going to share more encounters with you, including two he recently experienced.

When tonight’s guest, Beth, was 7 years old, she and her 5-year-old brother had a run-in with what they, for years, called the Big Bad Wolf. Fast forward 47 years; during the full-eclipse, on August 21st, 2017, Beth took her dog with her to a local park, to observe the eclipse. Unfortunately, Beth had more excitement than she bargained for because she found out the hard way, the park had a visitor she would never have expected to see there.

In Upstate New York, there’s a road called Coffee Rd. Unlike most roads, Coffee Rd. doesn’t have farmland or houses on it. The only thing you see, while driving down Coffee Rd. is woods. Last August, tonight’s guest, Dave, had 2 encounters on Coffee Rd. During one of those encounters, he recorded the second-best Dogman howl I’ve heard. Not only will Dave talk about the 2 encounters he had last August, I’m also going to play the howl he recorded for you.

Tonight's guest, Mike, grew up just outside of Germantown, Ohio. The area around Germantown has been well known, in the cryptid community, for all of the Dogman encounters that have happened near it. In fact, one well-known sighting happened in town. The creature that was seen in town has been called "The Butter Street Monster" by locals. Late one night, Mike and his friends decided to head to a field, outside of town to drink beer and hang out. They were expecting to hang out and take it easy. What happened, shortly after they got there, was anything but easy for them to deal with, unfortunately.

In this special, premium member only episode of Dogman Encounters, our guest, Joe, talks about two, strange experiences he's had. One of his experiences happened in the Philippines, when he saw a Dogman the size of a water buffalo, as he puts it. Tonight's guest, Tammie, was walking her dog, one day in Oklahoma. The area she was in would usually have a lot of bicyclists and walkers, but it was in the middle of a weekday, so she was alone or so she thought!

Tonight’s guest, Angel, is a self-described empath, from Texas. Growing up, Angel was fascinated by ghosts and vampires. She wasn’t very interested in werewolves. While Angel hasn’t ever encountered anything that resembled a vampire, she has had an encounter with a creature she describes as looking like a huge, grey werewolf. We hope you tune in and listen to her talk about her encounter with the Dogman she ran into that day, as well as an encounter she had with something else, late one night, on a lonely country road.

Tonight's guest, Vanessa, used to love taking long walks in the woods, around her rural home, in Northern Michigan. She considered herself to be at one with nature, as she puts it. That all changed one rainy night when she came home with her roommate. Growing up, she had heard plenty of stories about the Michigan Dogman. To her, though, they were just that; stories. She found out the hard way that night that sometimes, where there's smoke, there really is fire!

When tonight's guest, Aaron, was just 10 years old, his dad took him deer hunting, on the first day of rifle season. This was the first time he had ever been able to do that, so he was really excited. What he didn't know was that the hunting trip was going to have a twist to it neither Aaron or his dad would have ever expected. As it turned out, Aaron and his dad weren't the only ones hunting that day. Aaron found that out the hard way!
