Joy
20/12/2020 Duración: 33minChristmas is a season of searching. We search for the perfect gifts; we can remember waiting for those gifts under a tree. Or maybe we’re searching for something more in life. Christmas reminds us that joy is what we’ve always been looking for — and we can only find true joy in Jesus. Consider the joy of searching for something your whole life and then you find it. Magi were doing just that — searching and looking for answers in the stars, but they ultimately find God. What is it that you look to in life to make you happy and bring you joy? Is it Jesus, or something else? And, maybe you’re the star that God put in someone’s life to bring someone else to Jesus.

Peace
13/12/2020 Duración: 37minWhile we may feel drained or distracted — the pressure of the world around us, Jesus brings us real peace. Look at the time period in which God sent Jesus to this earth. It was a time of oppression, pain, chaos, unrest. God always shows up in the seasons we need Him the most. If Jesus shows up when we need him the most, who might be needing you to show up in their life? Who needs you to be a bringer of peace. The best gift you can give anyone is peace.

Good News
29/11/2020 Duración: 28minGood News comes to the unlikeliest of people — People who don’t deserve it. People who feel less-than. 400 years of silence and then God sends good news — 2020 has felt like 400 years of silence. God’s good news is that you are not alone; and God has not abandoned you. Imagine if, for 400 years, all you got was bad news — or no news at all. When you’re in the waiting period it seems as though all is lost. In fact, most of us walk away during those seasons. But, what if tomorrow is the day everything changes? Don’t walk away in the delay.

What Do You Want to Be Known For
30/08/2020 Duración: 38minThere are many in our communities who have already tuned out or been turned off by the church. How do you create a church unchurched people love to attend? How do you connect with this person on the couch who has no interest, and quite possibly has already said no to church, and maybe even Jesus? #forDFW #MyCompassChurch

Part 3
16/08/2020 Duración: 30minMost of us know something about God, and we know a little more about Jesus. But what—or who—is the Holy Spirit? Is it a ghost? Is it a force? Is it even an “it”? The Holy Spirit is a mysterious part of our faith. In this message, we’ll remove some of the mystery and in doing so, we’ll discover the path to a fulfilling life in an empty world.

Part 2

Student Takeover
26/07/2020 Duración: 35minThe Greatest Generation. Baby Boomers. Generation X. Millennials. Generation Z. Each generation is distinct from those that came before and those that come after. They have different priorities and different experiences. They see the world differently. It’s easy for the generations to live in conflict and competition. But what is our responsibility to the next generation? The next generation doesn’t need a better standard of living. It needs a standard for living. It is every generation’s responsibility—and privilege—to pass along the “praiseworthy deeds of the Lord” to generations that follow. When we help the next generation win, we win as well. Psalm 78:4
