On "Choosing The Better Part".

I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? 

This is the command as you have heard it from the beginning: you must walk in love.

And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!

And God split open the hollow place that was at Lehi, and water came out of it. And when he drank, his spirit returned and he revived.

And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them ...

In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 

The importance of atmosphere and environment in Revivals.

if My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

If my people, who bear my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.

Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves.
