Sinopsis
Located at the heart of San Marco, Southside Baptist Church is engaged with God in His mission to make all things new. Southside Baptist Church is not what you might expect. While the Corinthian columns and stained glass windows may lead you to believe you know what this place is all about, don't make your decision until you meet the people. At Southside we believe it is the people, not the building, that is the church. We believe it is our privilege to represent Jesus in San Marco by creating ministry environments where people can GATHER to worship God, GROW in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, and GO in the power of His Spirit to serve the world.

FINAL WORDS - The Proposal
22/05/2016 Duración: 39minSince the beginning of time the human race has been trying to find its way to God. Religion, nature, personal introspection and disciplines -- all of these and many more have proven helpful, but have ultimately fallen short. Jesus didn't recommend any of those things for those seeking God. Instead He made an incredibly radical claim about Himself when He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Many consider this to be one of the most difficult and challenging claims Jesus ever made. Join Pastor Gary as we consider this claim and what it means for our search for God.

JOHN 12-13: POURED OUT - The Other Foot
24/04/2016 Duración: 28minMany people have learned by experience that it is more blessed to give than to receive. But what happens when the shoe is on the other foot and the giver is the one who stands in need? For some people, it is far more difficult to receive help than it is to give it. However, the basic teachings of Jesus demonstrate that without a willingness to receive, we have nothing to give and are hopelessly lost. In part four of Poured Out, we discover Peter’s response to Jesus’ attempt to serve him and discover that worship begins with humility.

JOHN 12-13: POURED OUT - The Seed
17/04/2016 Duración: 44minJesus said the first and greatest commandment is to love God with everything we have and all that we are. That is what it means to worship. Our mission is to worship, but our worship also has a mission. As we abandon ourselves to the purposes of God, a watching world is impacted. Join us for part three of Poured Out, as we consider what Jesus meant when He said that unless a seed dies, it remains only a seed and how the mission of our worship is fulfilled through our selfless surrender to Him.

JOHN 12-13: POURED OUT - The Trouble With Crowds
10/04/2016 Duración: 38minThe “herd mentality” is that phenomenon where people get swept up in the emotion of a crowd. We have all seen and maybe even experiences this. Perhaps it happened for you at a college football game or at a political rally. The herd mentality can have devastating effects like those seen in a riot or it can produce something beautiful, as it often does after a natural disaster when people rally together to help their neighbors. But what, if any, effect does the herd mentality have on our religious believes and experiences? In this second message of the five-part series, Poured Out, we will consider a passage in John 12 where a crowd welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem proclaimed “Hosanna,” only to scream “crucify Him,” a few days later.
