Our Scripture this morning is 2 Chronicles 34:1-7 and John 3:1-17. In our teaching time today we put, side by side, a young boy of8 (Josiah) and an elderly Pharisee (Nicodemus). 

This morning we had Dr. Terry Smith, executive director, Canadian Baptist Ministries as our guest speaker. He concluded our series by teaching on the time of the Lord's favour. 

This morning we heard about when Jesus healed a woman who had been unable to stand up straight for 18 years. We learn about how "our little" can become "so much" when surrendered to Him.  

This morning we heard about the healing of blind Bartimaeus and the response of the Pharisees.

Today we begin a mini-series from Luke 4:16-21. This morning Thelma spoke about the release of the captives and the healing of the paralytic.

This week we look at Jesus' return to Nazareth; he went to share a teaching with his own people. We take a look at the anger and rejection he faced, but more importantly, how he wanted to open our minds so we could know there's so much more.
