We are starting a sermon series on living God's purpose in your life. Today we explore Moses' life to help us be ready to do this. What is your calling in life?

The Word became flesh. The opening of the Gospel of John sets the tone for the entire book. John tells us who Jesus was and why he came to earth.

As we wrap up these 40 days of purpose, what is your take away?

Olive oil and bread set before the Lord. A blasphemer put to death. The Sabbath year. The year of Jubilee. Reward for obedience. Punishment for disobedience. Redeeming what is the Lord's.

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) Our 4th purpose is to Serve God. What does it mean to serve like Jesus?

God created us of many purposes. The third of these is for us to become like Christ. This does not mean we become gods. There is only one God. So what does it me to be Christ like?

Be careful how you live, not as fools but as those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days. Don't act thoughtlessly, bu try to understand what the Lord whats you to do -- Eph. 5:15-17
