Pastor Jeremy will be launching into our spring series: Questions on FAITH & REASON(able) Answers. This week, we will be looking at matters surrounding God’s healing power - what is required of us in order to see God heal us?

Pastor Jeremy concludes our series on the book of Mark  with The Kingdom Comes... celebrating the incredible hope that we have in the fact that JESUS HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD!

Pastor Nathan will be continuing on as we fast approach the end of our journey through the gospel of Mark.   As the passion story looms, a fascinating and significant encounter with an unnamed woman reveals the kingdom in action even on the precipice of Jesus’ impending arrest, trial and ultimate death.

Pastor Jeremy will be continuing on in his unpacking of the end times from Mark chapter 13.  Stemming from his suggestion (in Part 1 on March 23rd) that many culturally-believed end times occurrences described in this chapter might, in fact, have been fulfilled in the destruction of the temple in 70 AD, it leaves us asking, “ok, so…what now?”  What does it mean to live in light of Christ’s return?  How should it impact our day-to-day?

We had the privilege of having Pastor Ray Duerksen from Southland Church in Steinbach, MB as our guest speaker. He taught us on the role of Prayer & Faith in the life of an apprentice of Jesus.

Pastor Jeremy delves into a dense and challenging section of the text in which Jesus speaks of days to come.  Ideas about the end times run rampant in our culture - what is it that Jesus might have to say on the matter?

Pastors Jeremy and Matt K teach us out of two shorter sections in Mark 12 in which Jesus makes some stark claims - both about his true nature and about heart-attitudes and practices that offend his nature.

We will be looking at the significance of Jesus’ response as well as stepping back to consider how we might follow his (Jesus’) example in engaging others in conflict - something that often seems like a far cry from our Canadian "code of conduct”.

Pastor Nathan will be teaching on the first of a series of traps laid out for Jesus by the Jewish leaders in Mark 12:13-17. It is always breath-taking to see how Jesus, time-and-time-again is able to masterfully navigate such snares - and on top of it all, reveal more about the truth of the kingdom of God! Pastor Jeremy's teaching centers around a fascinating parable at the beginning of Mark 12 about a landowner and his tenants. This parable carried with it profound meaning to those who heard it in Jesus’ day and continues to carry with it very poignant connotations to us as we seek to journey as apprentices of Jesus.

Pastor Jeremy will be teaching on the triumphal entry in Mark 11 - focusing on the strange irony that many who would receive Jesus with celebration would soon not regard him as the king which he was received to be. Why is it that people move from wholehearted reception of Jesus to disillusionment?

Pastor Nathan will be teaching on the final passage in Mark 10 in which Jesus heals a blind man, putting on display the profound truths of the Kingdom of God that he has been teaching his disciples along their journey towards Jerusalem. This is far more than "just another miracle" - it is a culminate illustration of this radical world view.
