It's Nick Quaglia and Mike Molyneaux on this week's CLNS Media Patriots Roundtable where they hit on a little Julian Edelman talk, and the possible raised confidence in the Patriots offense after Saturday's win over the Bills.  Out of all the veterans that Tom Brady has worked with on offense over the years, Julian Edelman remains the last one standing. Despite his declining health, the wide receiver has provided a sense of comfort to a system that features so many new faces. The question becomes, is the dependence on him too heavy at this point? If Edelman does go down, will Brady be able to put together a game winning drive with his other weapons? The run game was rolling, Harry was taking snaps, and the offensive line was doing its job. This was against the Buffalo Bills, one of the top rated defenses in the NFL. The Patriots have taken heat for their offensive production this year but Saturday was a different story. Nick Quaglia and Marv Ezhan hit another week of the CLNS Media Patriots Roundtable following the Patriots win over the Bengals this past Sunday.  First, let's talk about the news that hit us on Monday. We might now know why the Patriots let wide receiver Josh Gordon walk while the team was struggling on offense. Gordon was slapped with his fifth suspension from the league and again, it's for substance abuse. Did Bill Belichick know this was coming and is this why the Pats let him go? Want some more controversy? Some leaked footage is now out there of the Patriots recording of the Bengals sideline. Does this help or hurt the Patriots?  The Patriots won on Sunday, sure. And in total, they did manage to get up 34 points. But Tom Brady looked again, like a game manager rather than a star quarterback. Can New England continue to win this way? The CLNS Media Patriots Roundtable is back for another week with Nick Quaglia, Marv Ezhan and Mike Molyneaux after a tough loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.  The biggest story of the week... The refs. While the Patriots didn't play great, the refs seemed to have played a hand in what would be a one-score final. With some insanely horrific calls, and no calls, made by the officials, it truly affected the outcome. But regardless, Tom Brady and the Pats had their chances. Was Sunday's loss more on the Pats or the refs? Regardless of if you think the refs were the main cause of the Patriots loss, there's one thing we can all agree on. The Patriots offense needs some serious, serious help. Are the issues we're seeing on this Brady led offense fixable?  And finally, with the way the team's looked, let's ask this question. If the playoffs started today, how would you feel about Bill Belichick's team in the first round? Would they make it back to the AFC Championship? Or would they get washed out in the first round?
