In our current sermon series we are going to be exploring Jesus' words to His disciples in John 15:1-17. Over the next 4 weeks we will teach into what Jesus said about abiding, fruitfulness, prayer, obedience and love. Mike brought our series to a close by focusing on verses 12-12, as Jesus commands His followers to love one another.

How do we handle the parts of the Bible where we're presented with what looks like a list of names? It can be tempting to skip over them but as we explored Romans 16 this morning we see just how rich these verses are.

This morning Pete was speaking on John 15:7-11, looking at what it means to abide in Jesus' love and for His words to abide in us.

What role do the vine and the vinedresser play in fruitfulness?

This morning we met with our friends from Hope Church Sittingbourne and Sheppey Gospel Plant. We welcomed David Bareham from Community Church Chafford Hundred as he spoke with a focus on Everyone A Witness. He rooted his sermon in Acts 17 and 1 Thessalonians 1 , looking at how Paul and the Thessalonian believers shared the gospel.

The third of the values relating to church leadership is that of having, and being, leaders who are servant-hearted. But as Sam shared this morning we are all called to love, humility and servant hood.

This Sunday we had the joy of holding a baby thanksgiving service as we welcomed two of the newest members of our family. As part of our time together we looked at Ephesians 1:4-6 and considered what it means to be sons and daughters of God.

The Relational Mission Sunday for Swale saw Faversham Community Church, Hope Church Sittingbourne and Sheppey Gospel Plant gather together to worship, enjoy friendship and encourage one another. We were very blessed to have Stef Liston with us from Revelation Church, Camden. Stef serves on the Relational Mission team and this morning, based in Ephesians 4, he taught and encouraged us about what it is to be a part of an apostolic family together on mission.

Jesus spoke predominantly on the kingdom, but very little on the Church. This morning we focused on the kingdom and what it means for God's kingdom to come as Sam spoke on Matthew 28:16-20.

C S Lewis once said; "Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important." With this in mind, this morning, Mike helped us as we considered the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus.

In this series, based in the Psalms, we consider what it is to be a worshipping community. Neil drew the series to a close this morning as he spoke on Psalm 100, a call to worship.
