The LA Kings do a spectacular job of putting their backs against the wall once again. Chanelle and Diane vent their frustration, look ahead to offseason moves, and then magically end up hopeful again. Maybe it's the beer.

Diane's still on the road, so Chanelle breaks down the wonderful and terrible truths about the LA Kings getting shut out by the Anaheim Ducks in game 4 for her.

The LA Kings play one of their worst possession games of 2013-14 but still beat the Anaheim Ducks thanks to big goals from Marian Gaborik and Alec Martinez. Weird night!

All tied up! Holy crap, the LA Kings have managed to come back from a 3-0 defict in round 1 to tie the series vs the San Jose Sharks. Chanelle and Diane bug out over Justin Williams playing game 6 like it was game 7 and Anze Kopitar finding yet another level to his abilities in the third period.

STILL ALIVE. The Kings battled it out at Staples Center on Thursday night to win 6-3 over the Sharks, forcing game five. Diane and Chanelle went and then both had crazy busy Fridays but manage to check in on the fly.

The LA Kings finally join the round 1 series against the San Jose Sharks! Too bad their puck luck didn't want to join them. Kings go down 3-0 in the series, but Chanelle and Diane are still having an unreasonable amount of fun.

LA Kings fans didn't think there was any way for the Kings to play worse than they did against the San Jose Sharks in Game 1. We were all so, so wrong.

The best Chanelle and Diane can think of to describe this series opener is to say it wasn't as embarrassing as it started out. That'd probably a bad sign that. Welcome to the playoffs!

Regular season down; playoffs to go! The Kings ended their season on a high note even though they went through two shootout losses. Diane and Chanelle also get to celebrate #22 again. It started with a save in goal for Trevor Lewis and ended with a two-year contract extension. And, why Dwight King Face is the key to playoff success and debating who's more likely to turn it on the Stanley Cup Playoffs: Jonathan Quick or Mike Richards?

Playoff party!! Though the LA Kings lost most of their games this week, they beat the Phoenix Coyotes 4-0 to clinch a playoff berth for the fifth straight season. Diane and Chanelle rehash the bizarrely eventful and yet mostly chill game against the Canucks. Also, what the hell are the San Jose Sharks thinking right now? Plus, Sidney Crosby reaches 100 points, the Blues and the Avalanche hate each other, and what it would take for this era of the Kings to become a dynasty.

Everything's coming up Kings! Chanelle and Diane bask in the Kings stringing together four wins this week, including a tough back-to-back. Anze Kopitar remains #SelkeSmooth, Trevor Lewis has gone from a personal worst to his all-time best, and Jonathan Quick's "hot scorpion magic" was the perfect cap to a great week for the LA team. Remember when the Kings couldn't score goals? Ha! The past is dumb.

Chanelle and Diane count the positives from Kings games this week. Goalie Jon Quick and coach Darryl Sutter reach milestones, the team ties its shutout record, and Trevor Lewis is somehow on the verge of being an overachiever. Plus, the rule change that might increase goal-scoring for real this time, adding two cents to the women in hockey discussion, and laughing at writers who romanticize players. The Kings may have lost two games this week, but Chanelle and Diane aren't sinking into despair again just yet. Chanelle and Diane vote yea or nay on the Kings' trade deadline moves and how Marian Gaborik did in his first game with LA. By the way, the Kings are still crushing it since coming back from the Olympics. Meanwhile, other teams didn't do so well on deadline day, and so the ladies pick at the Anaheim Ducks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, Vancouver Canucks, and Dallas Stars. Tyler Seguin, at least, is having the best week ever. CORRECTIONS: Chanelle calls the Habs the Hurricanes early on, and that's stupid. The Kings beat a team wearing red. That's the point. She also says/implies that deflections don't count as blocked shots and they actually usually do, unless the folks keeping stats don't catch that they're deflected.

Chanelle and Diane celebrate the Kings winning their first three games after the Olympic break. Anze Kopitar's still killing it on the ice. Plus, Dustin Brown and Mike Richards are starting to pick it up during the home stretch. They also dig into headlines around the NHL: Ryan Miller traded from Buffalo, Ryan Kesler wants out of Vancouver, and Roberto Luongo gets snubbed for the Heritage Classic.
