Dustin Brown announced today his plans to retire at the conclusion of the LA Kings 2021-22 season. Brown was drafted 13th overall by the Kings in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and leads the franchise in games played. Kings broadcasters Jim Fox and Nick NIckson joined host Jesse Cohen immediately following the press conference to talk about what Dustin Brown's career meant to the organization and it's fans.

The Ontario Reign are celebrating their affiliation with the Kings this Sunday and Reign GM Rich Seeley joins host Jesse Cohen to talk about the challenges he's faced this season. The Reign are currently in second place in the Pacific Division of the AHL and have already clinched a berth in the 2021-22 Calder Cup Playoffs. Jared Shafran and Zach Dooley also appear to talk about the Kings prospect pool and the players that have split time between LA and Ontario.

A painting was commissioned and given to Jonathan Quick in recognition of his 700th game and the artist, Opie Otterstad, joins host Jesse Cohen to talk about the process of making the piece and some of the details hidden inside it. The Bannermen are also back to help crown another King of the Week for a week that saw the Kings pick up 5 of a possible 6 points on the road.

Trevor Moore joins host Jesse Cohen and Zach Dooley to talk about his recent success, his linemates and (of course) Thousand Oaks. Sarah Avampato (Locked On Kings) also stops by to help crown another King of the Week.

Newly acquired defenseman Troy Stecher joins Jesse Cohen and Zach Dooley on this episode of All The Kings Men. Stecher was acquired from the Red Wings in a deal at the Trade Deadline but played in Vancouver for four seasons, mostly alongside Alex Edler. Thomas Drance (The Athletic) covered Stecher in Vancouver and also joined us to talk about a player (Stecher) he described as "his favorite."

Dennis Bernstein (The 4th Period) and Kings PA Trevor Rabone joined host Jesse Cohen immediately following the LA Kings victory over the Nashville Predators Tuesday night.

Buffalo Sabres fan and Joywave front man Daniel Armbruster joined host Jesse Cohen just before the Kings played the Sabres in Buffalo. Armbruster shared his thoughts on the Jack Eichel trade, the Buffalo Sabres top ranked prospect pool and what touring is like in the midst of a pandemic. Joywave's new album is called Cleanse and is excellent.

The LA Kings became the first team in the 2021-22 NHL Season to defeat the Florida Panthers when trailing at the start of the 3rd period. Zach Dooley and Carrlyn Bathe joined host Jesse Cohen immediately following the LA Kings shootout victory over the Panthers to talk about about the surprising win. The trio also crown another King of the Week and discuss the mounting injuries for the LA Kings.

Zach Dooley joined host Jesse Cohen to crown another King of the Week following the Kings victory in Buffalo. The pair also talked to Kings forward Blake Lizotte following the Kings dramatic win in Columbus. Lizotte talks about the role he and his linemates play with the Kings, his NHL career and there's even some talk about Batman.

Viktor Arvidsson scored his third goal of the night to win the game in overtime against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Russell Morgan (Hockey Royalty) joined host Jesse Cohen immediately following the game to talk about one of the more emotionally engaging Kings games in recent memory. Scott Wheeler has completed the 2022 edition of his NHL prospect pool rankings for The Athletic. Wheeler joins host Jesse Cohen to talk about the evaluation process that lead him to rank the Kings second overall and some thoughts on the top ranked prospects in the Kings system. Dwight King and Jordan Nolan join host Jesse Cohen 10 years after their recall to the LA Kings following the 2012 NHL All-Star break. The pair of forwards helped the Kings win the Cup in 2012 and 2014 and share their memories of growing as professionals in both Manchester and LA. The LA Kings had the week off so Jared Shafran names a "Reign of the Week" to kick off the episode.

Quinton Byfield scored his 1st NHL goal against the New York Islanders in Drew Doughty's 1,000th NHL game. Doughty holds the records for most points scored and games played by an LA Kings defenseman and is having one of the best statistical seasons of his career.
