Holy shit! After more than an entire year, we were able to gather together in-studio to record this episode. The last time we recorded in-studio was February of 2020. It initially felt weird to be in the same room as other human beings without any social-distancing and without wearing a mask, but we warmed up to the situation pretty quickly before talking about a everything from Christian Nationalism to how much we hate Arkansas (but not really, Arkansans! ❤).   We chatted so much and for so long during one of the breaks that we ended up talking about teleporters, clones, nihilism, and existentialism for quite a while and will be releasing that conversation as a separate Patreon-patrons-only special BONUS episode very soon.   This will be the final episode of Season 7, and we're going to take a well-deserved break next week. It took President Donald J. Trump less than one week into the new year to commit an act so egregious that members of his own party have (at long last) started to turn against him.   The President of the United States of America incited his credulous horde of gullible numbskulls to launch an attack against democracy by rioting, looting, and vandalizing buildings at the Capitol complex in Washington, D.C on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. At least five people died as a result of the President's actions, including a Capitol Hill officer - a Trump supporter himself - who was beaten to death by Trump's "Back the Blue" supporters.   Trump will be the only President to be impeached twice. Recent news reports advise that there are at least 20 Republican members who are open to convicting him during the sure-to-happen impeachment trial in the Senate.
