  • Healing Relationships // Healing Starts with You

    23/01/2022

This is the first sermon in our Healing Relationships series. God created us for relationships. They were designed for us to experience His redemptive love and healing power, but too often are a place of pain and hurt. This 5-week relationships series won't be about surface level conflict resolution. We're going to strip away all the pretense, platitudes, and denial. We'll focus on why relationships are so messy, why they can be such a source of anguish, and yet can also be the greatest source of joy and fulfillment. The paradox of relationships is that while they can cause harm, it's also only through relationships that divine healing can occur. And while practical wisdom is necessary in any relationship, it is Jesus who provides the only transformative power. He is the true reconciler. When He is the center of our lives, His peace saturates our relationships and brings healing so that we can be healers ourselves.
