Editor Suzanne Evans, MD, and Benjamin Smith, MD, discuss ASTRO's new guideline on whole breast radiation therapy. This new guideline recommends that women with certain breast cancers can safety opt for a shorter 3-week regimen of radiation therapy vs the longer regimen of 6 to 8 weeks.
