  • John 1:1-18 - Audio

    12/06/2016 Duración: 1908h00s

“Live Eternally” John writes his gospel “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.” This “life” is Zoe in Greek. It differs from bios life. Zoe life is God’s life. It is the kind of life that lives forever. It never decays. Though originally assumed to be something attainable only in heaven, John dares us to find that life in Jesus today. This is the life God wants us to live, right now. A piece of Himself within us. A bit of heaven on earth before Jesus returns. Eternal life is not merely life after death, but also life before death. — Pastor Brandon

  • 1 Peter 3-5 Hold On In Hardship (Outsiders Part 3) - Audio

    08/05/2016 Duración: 2749h00s

“Outsiders.” The first three centuries of the Church struggled in a Roman Empire that was suspicious and demeaning of Christianity. It saw Christians as atheists, denying the power of the gods. It saw Christians as antisocial—critical of the conventional culture. To Rome, the gospel threatened their way of life. Today, America increasingly places Christianity in a similar context. Christians are outsiders: living in the world but not of it. Peter writes his first letter to such outsiders. If our faith is to survive this generation, we must adopt Peter’s message and adapt to living on the outside.

  • 1 Peter 2 "Hold On to Holiness" Outsiders Part 2 - Audio

    01/05/2016 Duración: 3009h00s

  • He is Risen! Are You? - Audio

    11/04/2016 Duración: 2507h00s

We are familiar with looking at the resurrection of Jesus as proof that He is indeed who He said He was and that God agreed. We are also familiar with the resurrection as a promise, or a preview, of our future resurrection. But we are less familiar with the resurrection as a path to follow. In this message, we explore what walking the path of resurrection looks like--and where it leads.

  • Leaving Religion 7: "Stories of Faith" - Audio

    20/03/2016 Duración: 3740h00s

“Leaving Religion” is a call to adventure. As humans, we labor to erect sturdy, safe cathedrals to protect our lives. We want easy, affordable religion. Something that doesn’t demand too much of us. When Rome’s emperor Nero turned against Christians, Jewish believers found an easy solution: Judaism. As a religion recognized by Rome, joining the synagogue offered safety. But worship, vocation, and God cannot be squeezed into our safe cathedrals. So Hebrews calls these believers (and us!) into an adventure—something costly, but transformative. To journey the long, difficult road of faith. Engaging Jesus’ life means departing from religion’s cathedral.

  • Leaving Religion 5: Trusting Jesus In the Wilderness, Part 2 (Heb 10-11) - Audio

  • Supporting a Functional Church Family (1 Tim 5-6) - Audio

    27/12/2015 Duración: 2736h00s

This series in 1 Timothy will emphasize inter-generational relationships and how the two can work together to create lasting leadership, or Pillars, in the Church. This message sees the pillar as necessary for supporting the church family. The church today looks like the dysfunctional families in our society. Each member needs support from its leadership, and the leadership from its members. When an experienced generation chooses to support a younger generation, as Paul does for Timothy through the writing of this letter, we will see new pillars supporting a growing, functional family.

  • The Story: Restoration - Audio

    27/12/2015 Duración: 3013h00s

The Bible is a drama. The curtain goes up in Genesis and comes down in Revelation. The drama moves in three major parts: creation, rebellion, and restoration. By understanding the arch of this story, we will better understand God, our world, and why we exist.

  • A Scary Christmas (Matt 2) - Audio

    20/12/2015 Duración: 2236h00s

This year, we precede Christmas with a world of bad news, great sorrow, and violence. A stark contrast to the typical story of glad tidings of great joy and peace on earth. Refugees seek home. Terrorism senselessly murders. Is the Christmas story mere wishful thinking? How does its message harmonize with the reality of the world?

  • The Grounded Pillar (1 Tim 2-4) - Audio

    14/12/2015 Duración: 3545h00s

The series in 1 Timothy will emphasis inter-generational relationships and how the two can work together to create lasting leadership, or Pillars, in the Church. This message sees the pillar as grounded in godliness. Godliness is not a flying high, too good for the world, up-in-heaven kind of spirituality. Rather, godliness is a walk on earth, part of humans and creation, down-to-earth kind of spirituality. Much like the incarnation of Jesus.

  • The Story: Creation - Audio

    13/12/2015 Duración: 2776h00s

The Bible is a drama. The curtain goes up in Genesis and comes down in Revelation. The drama moves in three major parts: creation, rebellion, and restoration. By understanding the arch of this story, we will better understand God, our world, and why we exist.

  • Hewing Pillars (1 Tim 1) - Audio

    06/12/2015 Duración: 2883h00s

Part 2 of a unique evening, in which Pastor Mike and Pastor Brandon each taught as a demonstration of the elder/younger relationship Paul and Timothy shared. The series in 1 Timothy will emphasis inter-generational relationships and how the two can work together to create lasting leadership, or Pillars, in the Church. This message probes at the two halves of life, why many fail to reach phase two and live adolescent adulthood, and how knowing the difference between the two is essential to finding place and purpose for old and young together in Kingdom work.
