Allendale Analytics Presents: Man Vs. Movie

After a much needed week of respite, we are back with a breakdown of the championship games, the college football playoff, and the end-of-season results from Year One of the Man vs. Model challenge. 

In this very special pre-turkey day episode we are joined by the pick leader hisself, Dawson Dvorak (a.k.a, Dawson "The Dragon" Dvorak; a.k.a, Dawson "Big Unit" Dvorak; a.k.a. "Double Down"). At 64% accuracy against the spread, we were really hoping for some insight into this week's games from the mind of a master picker, but instead Dawson mostly spent the evening making dick jokes. So...yeah.   

Casey finally leads from the front after a big week in both his sides and totals. Meanwhile the D2000 treads water just above .500 and the O.D. (Original Dingus) turns in a solid 6-4 week in the Over/Under games. 

In this week's episode we break down the Husker's astonishing victory over Michigan St., we pick tons of games, and somebody offends Casey with a maleficent bodily emission. So, the ushe.

The dingus is back at full length after two abbreviated podcasts. In this week's episode we get into the technicalities of our new model, the D2000, as well as the upgrades we made to the O.D. (Original Dingus). Both models, by the way, were hotter than the gates of hell last week. Then, after making a fool of himself by imitating a lobster trying to do karate, Casey picks the Hilltoppers...again...

In this spooky Halloween special Ken, Casey, and Dr. England are replaced by a Pick Ninja, an Internet Troll, and our new and improved computer model, the D2000. We had to keep this one short and sweet to save room on our webhost...but we pack heaps of hilarity, some amazing sound effects, and a bunch of winning picks into this episode! 

Because of the storage limits of our webhost we were forced to condense this episode...which may be a good thing given how badly Casey, Kenny, and the Dingus picked last week. 

The Pick Dingus finally gets rolling in Week 6, just like it has the previous two seasons and one of our top pickers, r2r0 (Arturo), joins us and makes some picks and also drops some much needed knowledge. 

In this episode we break down some big games from Week Five, we explain some betting strategies that look profitable early on this year, we make some predictions about week six, and we try with all our will power to avoid discussing the Huskers' pitiful 2015 campaign. 

In this episode we try our best to explain (rationalize?) why the Pick Dingus was less than stellar in its debut, we review the epic performance of the human pickers against the spread in week four, we pick Miami to cover Cincy on Thursday night (which was a huge embarrassing failure), and we laugh at Casey quite a lot. 

The Huskers beat the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles, 36-28 in a game that should never have been anywhere near that close. In this 'minicast' we answer a couple of tweets that came in over the weekend, and discuss some stats which should have Husker fans at least slightly concerned. 

The battle begins! The first official Pick Dingus picks posted for Week Four and the human pickers may be in deep, deep trouble. Casey and Ken review Week Three, break down Week Four games, and make some predictions about the future.
