Your SEC East Champion Georgia Bulldogs finish the regular season 11-1 after taking out Georgia Tech 38-7 in Atlanta on Saturday. This is just the 10th time in school history the Dawgs have won 11 or more games. A lot of people, fans, sports writers, and podcasters have dubbed many of Georgia’s victories this year as part of a revenge tour - where Kirby, Nick Chubb and company have taken out all of the teams that beat them last year and have done so in dominating fashion. The SEC Championship game looms large and safe to say with UGA’s workmanlike approach at Bobby Dodd, the coaches and team is locked and focused on the most important game Georgia has played in 5 years. Georgia beat the South Carolina Gamecocks 24-10 in front of a packed Sanford Stadium. The Dawgs ran up their record to 9 and 0. This is the first time Georgia has been 9 and 0 since 1982. Not only did the Dawgs win the game, but they clinched the SEC East Championship about 45 minutes after the game ended when Ole Miss beat Kentucky up in Lexington.
