Look Like A Local: Travelers Not Tourists

Edgartown is a island getaway that you need to experience.  Travel there and take in the amazing restaraunts, shops, and local scenery.  Take in one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.  Marnely Rodriguez is our resident tour guide and she provides valuable insight that anyone traveling to Edgartown needs to hear!

Nantucket spurs many images for people.  Though it has a reputation as a playground for the very well to do, Joann Barnham of the Nantucket Yoga Festival, opens the doors to everyone.  Joann takes on a beautiful tour of this stunning island and shows that it is indeed within everyones reach to visit this fabled destination.

Travel to South Norwalk, Connecticutt as Ria Rueda of Bread and Butter Marketing takes us and shows all that South Norwalk or SONO (as the locals call it) has to offer.  South Norwalk has been described as a place where classic waterfront meets urban hip.  Only one mile from New York City, SONO can make a great base for visiting the region as a whole!

Hartford has a lot to offer guests.  Restaraunts and museums, art galleries and wonderful theater.  Hartford continues to impress.  We have local resident Nick Balkun who is going to take us on a tour of the city he calls home.  Nick points out so many unique features in this interview.  You can tell that he has a real sense of pride when it comes to his hometown.  

New Haven Connecticut is a triple threat.  You have a vibrant city feel, with a beautiful shoreline and close rural areas that make it so you don't have to spend hours in the car!  Join us as Peter Sonski, head of the Knights of Columbus museum takes us through all that New Haven has to offer visitors.  With some great choices for restaraunts and shops, Peter gives us the full insider tour.  

Head to Rochester New York the Flower City.  Rochester is full of surprises from the world class Strong Museum of Play to one of the Largest Jazz Festivals in the United States.  Rochester continues to be a beautiful city that you will want to travel to.  The region around Rochester also boasts a number of different travel destinations that are worth exploring.  Guided by resident tour guide Chris Clemens of ExploringUpstate.com, he shows us some of Rochester's best attractions and what makes it such a unique visit.

New York City has always been known as a travel destination.  A place where you can take in so much and still have so much more to do.  So lets head to New York City as Greg Young, host of the Bowery Boys podcast takes into the hidden gems that make up New York.  Greg shows us some of the best places to eat, shop, and some very cool destinations while we are in the Big Apple.

Damon Amendolara is a CBS Sports host heard on over 150 stations nationwide.  Damon takes us on a tour of Syracuse and we discover that it's much more than just a "college town."  Syracuse has a lot to offer travelers, including great places to eat, shop and hang out.  Located a short drive from the Finger Lakes and other destinations, Syracuse is a perfect base to go and explore other parts of the region.

Ithaca is 10 square miles surrounded by reality.  Or at least that is what I have been told.  Join me as we visit this destination that is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region.  Ithaca is a great mix of natural beauty and unique culture.  Our resident tour guide Katherine Banko is going to take us on a tour of this great destination.  

Buffalo New York is a great travel destination for everyone.  It's a great foodie city and has a lot to offer.  Described by Anthony Bordain as a "weirdly wonderful place", the people of Buffalo share a deep passion and pride for their city.  They love their Buffalo Bills and Sabres.  They also have a deep appreciation for Buffalo's diverse backgrounds.  With as many different cultures converging on to one another, you're going to have some great food options to choose from as well.  So take a trip out to Buffalo with Chris "the Bulldog" Parker of WGR 550 as he shows off Buffalo.
