Prayer Model for Acts 2:1-4 On the day of Pentecost[a] all the believers were meeting together in one place. PRAISE GOD · His timing in my life is specific to His plan (certain day, time, space). · For the Body of Christ, His Bride, of which, I am a member! ASK GOD · Help me trust the timing, plans, circumstances, and ways of God. · Help me put myself in the right moments with His people & His Presence. · Help me love the Body of Christ and find my place in it. 2 Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. PRAISE GOD · For the manifest presence of God and the wind of the Spirit. · Lord you fill my life like you filled the room that day. ASK GOD · Be fresh and new in my life! New experiences. New spiritual movement. New touch of the supernatural on my life. · Fill my life with the presence of God. 3 Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. 4 And everyone present

PRAYER is Our PRIORITY – If we pray, the Kingdom will be built on earth as it is in Heaven. PRAISE GOD · You hear and answer all the prayers I pray. · Your Kingdom will be built; your Church will advance. ASK GOD · Let my agenda submit to the agenda of the King. · Please, Holy Spirit, stir in us a desire and drive to pray your will on this earth as it is in Heaven. PEOPLE are Our PURPOSE – People are and always have been the focus of God’s love and the object of the Gospel. PRAISE GOD · Your great love for all people is unmatched & never ends. · You desire all people to come to repentance & relationship. ASK GOD · Help CPC to focus on people and love with your love. · Guard us from corrupting or compromising the Gospel. · Make us conduits of your love and the Gospel to people. Why do we still believe in the Baptism? What exactly is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Why did God choose Speaking in Tongues? What is the Purpose of the BITHS? Why should I seek? Why would anyone who believes not desire this from God? How can I be Filled with the Holy Spirit?
