Why did Jesus sacrifice for us? Why should we sacrifice for others?

What we wait for will shape our lives in unexpected ways.

Jesus is bigger than any box we try to confine him to -- he is bigger than any problem we think looks too big to handle.

What has God done to bless you in the last 12 months?

Jesus Christ is more than a good teacher or great human being. He is the Son of God, our Lord.

Most people go to one of two extremes with creation. Some people simply take it for granted while others take it so seriously that it seems like they worship it. Christians should learn to see God in creation.

Too many people, even faithful church attending Christians, suffer from "Santa Claus Syndrome." They asked God to do something for them or to give them some other thing and it did not happen. So they began to act as though God either does not care or cannot help. They confused controlling God with trusting God. We need to dump the doubts because we will never understand God

We tend to avoid saying and doing things that will make us stand out from the crowd. We are afraid of what others might think of us. However, Jesus calls us to follow him and when we do we will stand out. There will be people who don��"t like it. When that happens, Jesus calls us to rejoice.

We hide our fear of finding peace in our relationships behind all kinds of excuses. But Jesus declares that God's children are to take the first step every time. We are to follow his example and seek ways to intentionally initiate peacemaking activities in our relationships.

Worship that honors God is a lifestyle not simply a Sunday morning ritual.

We've become hard hearted because we tried to heal and protect our broken hearts in our own ways. However, God invites each of us to allow him to heal our broken hearts and to take away our hard hearts.

We tend to find ways to ignore, deny, dull, or remove pain in our pursuit of happiness. But, Jesus says happiness is found in sharing our pain with him and then sharing the pain of others.

Jesus says happiness belongs to those with self-control. We cannot control our reactions but God's Spirit can help us bring them under the control of his love.

Comfort is available, not in pills, booze, sex, movies, books, whatever, but in God Himself. If you will turn to Him, you will make it through the pain.

Why can't I catch happiness? Why am I always chasing after it and never grabbing hold of it?

Telling the story of how Jesus changed your life opens the door for God's power to change the lives of others.

Everyday God is working to draw men and women to Himself. However, we play a vital role in his plan. We will see God do "even greater things" as we make the most of opportunities he brings to us.

We humans enjoy our "Comfort Zones." We have our circle of friends and family - people like us. We go to the same stores almost all the time. However, God uses unexpected relationships to do greater things in our lives when we are open to them.

We tend to think people who do and see great things from Jesus are lucky. It's as if we believe they won some kind of heavenly lottery but God uses people who personally prepare their spirits and get ready for more of him.

Why do wise people earn all they can and save all they can? So they can give all they have.
