Way back in 2002 we had already lived in a world with a pretty darn good X-Men movie and the world couldn't wait to see what Hollywood would do with the beloved character, Spider-Man. So Hollywood did exactly what you'd expect them to do- Hire the guy who brought us EVIL DEAD. While not the conventional choice for director, Spider-Man would launch Sam Rami from low budget horror and sometime thriller director, to helming one of Marvel's biggest properties.  But does 2002's Spider-Man live up to the gigantic hype it had back in the day?
