The rules of time travel are as complex and unique as snowflakes. Every movie does time travel a bit different. Timecop, has its own set of time travel rules. Do they make sense? Who can say? The Mask You know that kids movie with the condom joke, tailpipes shoved into… tailpipes and a very sexually aggressive hero. You know the one. 1994’s The Mask is a real weird kids movie based on a comic book about a homicidal maniac. Jim Carrey was just hitting his hot streak in the 90s and everyone was annoying people or being annoyed by the quotable catchphrases in this movie. Adam Sheehan from TMNT Minute and Tales from the Short Box makes his first guest appearance and brings some much needed history with The Mask comics with him. The Shadow This movie is not Hudson Hawk despite what some people may think. That said, The Shadow is an odd film in many ways, but has a lot of charm. The character of Lamont Cranston (aka The Shadow) precedes every character we’ve talked about so far in our list and possibly every character we will talk about in future movies on this podcast. So many comic book heroes owe in some small part to The Shadow. We’re joined by the excellent Ashley Erin Campbell to discuss this pulp adventurer played by the brooding Alec Baldwin.
