Welcome to EdTech Rewind Episode 28, The John Rhodarmer Episode. John Rhodarmer has an impressive story to tell and he lays it all out here in this Rewindisode. Remember, sometimes it is EdTech, sometimes it is Rewind, and sometimes it is a little bit of both. Rewindisodes offer an opportunity to go more in depth with leaders in the world of education. So last week during the #FloydPLN Twitter chat there was a stranger in the midst. This stranger, Mr. Ryan McLane (@McLane_Ryan on the Twitter) was saying some pretty amazing stuff. Episode 19 is a sit down with West Ottawa Schools Director of Instructional Technology, Jordan Beel! You can find him @jordanbeel on the Twitter machine. Lee and Jordan talk about the state of technology in West Ottawa and it is strong. West Ottawa, under Jordan's leadership, has gone 1:1 with Chromebooks, built up a student run tech team, and has gone on to empower teachers to be leaders of professional development within the district. After a break for Clint to rehab a ligament issue at Hilton Head, the guys are back for another round. Clint is getting ready to fight some large mosquitos in Alaska while Lee is working at the Midlands Summit in Richland 2, right outside of Columbia, SC. This school district is doing some amazing things.
