    Knowing our identity as IN CHRIST is essential to loving a life of joy and of power! Paul tells us that we have "redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of God's grace". Redemption is such a beautiful word! It means to buy back... to release from captivity... to rescue... It's so meaningful when you consider it in light of Genesis 3:10 where Adam responds to God... "I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid". In one act of rebellion against God, FEAR, GUILT and SHAME became part of the human condition. But Redemption which both a present reality and a future hope reminds us that all that was lost and all that is broken will be restored one day!
