Message from our Faith and Family Conference We MUST be sincere in our Service to God.

Are we truly worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth? Or are we just going through the motions? Such a great challenge from Pastor Black!!

"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12 If not us... who? If not now... when? 

Do you know who you are in Christ? Are you a saint or a sinner?

Did you know that we should not be content with giving to God something that cost us nothing? God requires true sacrificial giving for our lives to be truly blessed.

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." Why is it so hard to get saved???

Jeremiah 23:6 "In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness."

We spent a Sunday School class going through the Proverb of the Day... which was chapter 27. We hope you remember to use the Proverbs as part of your daily walk!

Hebrews 11:7 "By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith."

"Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth." John 12:35-40  

Expository preaching verse by verse through the first chapter of I Thessalonians:

The house of God is a place where His Word is Proclaimed and His name is Praised! May God be glorified at Heritage Baptist Church!!

The Lord is our Great Shepherd! He will feed us, give us freedom, give to us His faithfulness, reveal His calling for our life, and comfort us along the way.

God has a purpose for every trial we face. He is always working in someone's life. Just look at some of the things He accomplishes through each struggle: To prove us to God To prove God to us To prove us to our-self To prove us to others To prove God to others 

Enoch demonstrated his faith by his walk with God. It is important how we walk through this life!

Though Cain offered the best of what he had- he did not offer what God required of him. We must not only meet our personal standards, but we must meet God's.
