This is what happened. :)

The number of X chromosomes in the 3DB studio increases significantly as Drew and Chance welcome local coaches Alex and Candace to the show to discuss women in Blood Bowl!  They talk and the lads listen.  At least they try.  Then they all reminisce about how their teams are faring in their local leagues and cover other random nonsense.  Please excuse the 30-minute WoW digression.  They promise it will not happen again.  Probably.

The lads drove ten hours each way to Orclahoma and played in some tournaments. For plastic trophies. Good use of their time? Find out by listening and then questioning if that was a good use of YOUR time!

So most of our beloved Blood Bowl races got new player names.  Or new team names.  Or both.  Or neither.  What does this mean for you?  Well, for one thing, it means you get to listen to Drew and Chance rant about it for over an hour.  Actually, Chance does most of the ranting while Drew plays the voice of reason in this episode.  Then they talk about some roster called the 'Nobles' like it's a real thing or something.  In the immortal words of Weird Al, everything you know is wrong.  Just be glad we didn't name the episode, 'Say My Name'.  Peace!

Did you know a single typo is the only difference between 'Hugs Not Drugs' and Hug Snot Drugs'?  We found that out while typing this and trying to think up Ogre puns at the same time.  Luckily for you, this episode is surprising pun-free (I know, right?) as we welcome original Simyin Team Member Jason back to the show to discuss Ogres in tournament play.  Apparently, people play Ogres in tournaments or something. Then we peek behind the Commish Curtain (Is that a thing now?) as TIm, Drew and Chance meet secretly in public at Critical Hit Games to discuss the new Blood Bowl rules and which ones to begin using in our local leagues.  There was laughter, there was whining, there was a surprising amount of Treeman love.  That confusion you feel is well founded.  Stick around if you dare!  (Yup, Treeman pun.  Boom.)

This is it!  The moment at least 14% of you have been waiting for!  Chance and Drew get hold of a shiny copy of the new Blood Bowl boxed set and they...drumroll...unbox it!  Live!  Sort of.  They open it on the show and share their (mostly) unedited thoughts as they go.  Then there is much claiming of being the first American podcast to do this, that or the other.  Fact or fiction?  True or false?  Interesting or colossal waste of time?  You decide...with a not-inconsiderable amount of your time, um, well spent!

Up first the lads talk about their adventures at Chaos Cup 2016, there were dinosaurs, and sushi, and trip wires galore. Then they give the Star, Push, Skull treatment to some recent BB topics, or at least recent to them. Lastly, they do local leagues and other examples of their patented nonsense.

Chance and Drew throw down in the PodBowl on FUMBBL in a (hopefully) interactive segment!  Pull up FUMBBL, watch the match while you listen and hear the innermost thoughts of these two (supposedly) decent Blood Bowlers!  There will be blood...and complaining about dice!  Then we discuss our upcoming Chaos Cup trip, which is weird because this episode is coming out after CC is over.  Time travel (in one direction) is real!  League standings, cheering fans, and general nonsense ensues!  Your ears will thank you!

Sure, it's August, but Chance and Drew had a busy summer! In this episode, we bring back Tim Lyons to help us cover the June Iowa/Minnesota tournament series as we recap the Three Die Brawl and look ahead to the UffDa Bowl! With the next episode covering GenCon Bowl and the Chaos Cup, we are halfway through our summer tournament series! Other stuff happens as well. It always does.

Chance and Drew cover the Bretonnians yet again as they talk tournament options for the Knights and Yeomen. Then Blood Bowl odds and ends as the lads wander around verbally. Then leagues and cheering fans! We hope to see you at the Three Die Brawl this weekend!

With the North American Midwest tournament season right around the corner, Chance and Drew share all the dirty little secrets about Three Die Brawl 2016! Up next, it's Simyin 3.0 as the lads discuss the best way to commit dirty deeds with the Simyin in tournaments! After that Chance FINALLY announces our contest winner... or is that winners? Cheering fans follows and at some point at least one chorus of Rock Me Amadeus is totally rocked. You know you want to sing along!

2015 is over yet Chance refuses to believe it so Drew helps him look forward to 2016! New Year's resolutions are offered and the lads give their (somehow both both too late and too early) impressions of GW getting back on the pitch! WE cover leagues and tournaments, still don't have a Simyin contest winner,and still manage to miss the entire month of January! Great start to the year!

Chance and Drew welcome Steve Arthurs, NAF League director and founding Simyin team member, to the show to talk about the OBBLM, the new worldwide league finder, community rosters, and the future of Blood Bowl!  Also some sidetracks, derailments and the other tangents you’ve come to know and tolerate!  Then local league coverage and Chance puts off announcing the winner of the Simyin contest until 2016!  A whole year, what a jerk.  Your ears will thank you!

In honor of the second helpings enjoyed around Thanksgiving, Chance and Drew are giving you first AND second helpings of Bretonnian tips and tactics with Brets 1.0 and 2.0!  Then they cover local leagues, crown a champion, sing some songs, do listener mail and keep their fingers crossed that it all makes sense!  Now we just need to get working on our holiday surprise!  Enjoy!

Good things come in threes, right?  Let's hope so!  Up first, 2015 Chaos Cup "I AM CHAOS" champ Michael Lewis joins Chance and Drew to grab tournament Chaos by the horns.  Next, we try to discuss the new Blood Bowl II game but then (Tokyo) drift into a *ahem* passionate discussion about the NAF's recent pseudo-acceptance of the three 'new' races - Brets, Khorne and Simyin - into sanctioned tournaments. Drew has to remind Chance that we have local leagues to cover, Cheering Fans are heard loud and clear, the occasional song is broken out into and all this happens while the lads try out a new recording system.  All this and a NEW APE CONTEST!!!  Fun on a bun! 

  Chaos Cup happened, dice were rolled, food was eaten, players were killed and touchdowns were scored.  Sometimes.  Chance and Drew tell their tales of triumph, tragedy, suits, Swedes, hugs, high-fives and highway traveling!  Then local leagues and Cheering Fans!  Lastly, not to bury the lead, we try our best not to touch the BB2/NAF/Brets kerfluffle!  At least not yet...
