Overcoming Our Blind Spots - Audio

We are instructed by God to love others, but sadly we can develop blind spots to our failure to do so. (v.3-5) A root cause for our blind spots is our pride. “Pride gets no pleasure out of having something, only out of having more of it than the next man... It is the comparison that makes you proud: the pleasure of being above the rest. Once the element of competition is gone, pride is gone.” ― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity To love God means worshiping Him, but that’s more than just going to church on Sundays. It means giving full attention to God’s command to tangibly love people who are suffering or hurting in the world. (v.6-7, 9-10) Faith “blind spots” cause us to be spiritually sick.
