This is an overview on the New Testament view of baptism.

Matthew 18:7-14 - God cares deeply for us. He demands we deal with things in our lives that cause us or others to stumble. His love also pushes us to pursue those who have wandered from His sheepfold.

Phil. 2:1-8 - The church is called to have the mind of Christ - putting others above ourselves in humilty, sacrifice, and service.

Acts 2:42-47 - The five primary functions of a New Testament church.

1 Peter 5:1-6 & John 10:11-15 - Church leaders are called to follow Jesus' model of shepherding for the sake of His kingdom.

1 Peter 1:3-6 - We have a living Hope in Christ

2 Cor. 11 - This message is a call to prepare for the observance of the Lord's Supper.

Psalm 19 - The majesty of God's work and the Majesty of God's Word calls us to a relationship with Him.

Psalm 51 - David wrote this psalm following the exposure of his sin with Bathsheba. Here in we find a presciption for true repentance and restoration in our walk with God.

Psalm 139 - The Psalmist reminds us of teh intimate relationship that God desires with us. The Lord created us and knows everything about us. Even so, His love for us is overwhelming.

Col. 1:24-29 - Paul's purpose for great sacrifice was so that God would be glorified as men and women are made complete in Christ. Our hope of bringing glory to Christ is in being disciples and making disciples.

2 Tim. 4:6-8 - Fight the good fight. Finish the race. Recieve the reward.
