Christmas is around the corner, but it'll probably be gone just as quick. Perhaps your best gift this holiday is to put away the busyness of a wintry Toronto life and reflect each week on the heart of Christmas. The Old Testament accounts for the existence of the universe, moral laws, world religions, national wars - things that are still important to us today. If we take Old Testament stories as allegory or fables we'll think God is distant or mythical. But if these stories record how God actually intervenes in the universe and how he reveals himself to mankind, then they can help us account for why and how we live today. In this series we’ll see how the Old Testament is demystified in Christ making the message of the Bible both relevant and radical for today.
