Tomorrow, we will move from Cana to Jerusalem and the first of three or four Passovers that John tells us Jesus attended. The other Gospel writers focus on one, the Passover during Holy Week. In a familiar passage, we will see that Jesus becomes indignant, hopefully understand the reason, and how this speaks to us as his church.

Suddenly, miraculously, Zechariah could speak again and broke out into praising God. It wasn’t only what he said but the fact he could even say it after 9 months of being silenced that left his neighbors in awe. Where he had been afflicted with silence for his disbelief, he now rejoiced with faith.
